CIP Cleaning System

GEMAK skid-mounted modular CIP systems are produced for food, chemical and pharmaceutical applications. The modules are advanced automatic cleaning units for tanks, fillers, pasteurizers, sanitary piping, aseptic tanks, plate heat exchangers and other process equipment. Fully automatic CIP units are PLC-controlled and can be designed with up to five pressure lines; cleaning time, chemical temperature, flow and concentration are controlled automatically, conductivity transmitters monitor chemical strength, and systems are supplied with stainless steel PLC panels.

Plate Pasteurizer

GEMAK skid-mounted modular pasteurization systems are built with plate, tubular and scraped-surface heat exchanger technologies for milk and dairy, fruit juice, flavored and carbonated beverages, honey, molasses, cream, ice cream mix, brine, margarine, egg, tomato products, sugar syrup, water, fermented drinks and many other liquid food and chemical applications. Units are mounted on AISI 304 stainless steel profile frames with Alfa Laval Alloy 316/Ti plates, clip-on gaskets, 100–500 L balance tanks, Alfa Laval flow equipment and Siemens PID/PLC control panels, manufactured to customer and fluid requirements.

Standard Model Cleaning Basket

The standard model basket is used on flat facades without recesses. Basket load capacity is 240 kg and self-weight is 270 kg. Two 1 kW motors provide vertical travel; Ø8 galvanized steel rope is used and excess rope is wound on a drum. The door group is steel box profile; other parts are aluminum. The basket has two safety (blockstop) brakes, two overload switches, four upper switches and two lower level switches; vertical and roof machine movements are controlled from inside the basket.

Designed to deliver personnel into facade recesses, typically used for recesses of 2 m and above. It opens hydraulically like scissors to extend the basket into the recess; balance is maintained by counterweights opening in the opposite direction. Safe access for recesses from 2 m to 5.5 m. Load capacity 240 kg; basket weight 980–1300 kg depending on opening length. Uses Ø10 6×19 galvanized rope and two 1.5 kW motors rated 1500 kg; hydraulic opening is manual or electric.

Rotating Basket

HVAC filter systems

The About page lists manufacture and sale of HVAC filter systems together with HEPA, roll, bag and carbon filters and air cleaners. The electrostatic-filter page states that plants built at the Istanbul factory use metal, panel, electrostatic, ozone and activated-carbon filters as required. Filter components are washed and reused for years; carbon in the activated-carbon filter is replaced. Where a chimney cannot be installed they remove cooking odour, smoke, dust and soot and remove the need for a stack.

The same page states active-electrostatic air-cleaning plants are designed and built to need. Cabinets are aluminium-framed, galvanized or stainless-faced, powder-coated, double-skin, rock-wool insulated, chemically sealed at joints, rubber-gasketed and fully leak-tight. Dirty air passes a metal pre-filter, panel filter, electrostatic filter, ozone filter, activated-carbon filter and a particle filter, sterilised up to 99%. High-voltage units run on 220 V, consume 100–500 W and produce 20,000–100,000 V. Units can be fitted to an existing ventilation system and are also used for laser-cutting and press oil-smoke.

Technical Service and Maintenance
