The electrostatic-filter page says periodic maintenance is easy: pre-filter and electrostatic filter are pulled from a sliding bay, washed, dried and refitted; only the carbon of the activated-carbon filter is replaced; the ozone filter needs no cleaning. Cleaning and filter changes can be done by the user or by requesting service. Filter components are washed and used for years.
