The turbocharger intake fan billet is a part used as the intake fan in the ABB TPL 65-A10 turbocharger model. Aksa Hi-Tech shows this part among its production examples. It also manufactures turbo fans from motor parts used in rail systems. Parts are machined to the customer drawing on 5-axis machining centres and on C- and Y-axis CNC lathes with driven tools. The CHMER CUT 300 wire EDM is used for complex contours and fine detail. Every production batch is verified on a Hexagon Global S CMM and documented with statistical process control.

Titanium impeller

The titanium impeller is a part machined from titanium for a steam conversion system. Aksa Hi-Tech lists titanium together with steel, stainless steel, aluminium and engineering plastics in its 5-axis CNC machining range. The PINNACLE BX900T is a 5-axis machining centre with turning; travels are X 1500 / Y 900 / Z 1000 mm, power is 40 kW and the control is Heidenhain. The ETASİS BESHIC 600 is a Siemens-controlled simultaneous 5-axis machining centre. Metrology covers a Hexagon Global S CMM, Absolute Arm 85 and 83 arms, and an Accretech Surfcom NEX 030 for surface and contour measurement.

Aerospace and defence components are complex, tight-tolerance parts produced with an AS 9100 quality management system and a 5-axis machining infrastructure. In this field Aksa Hi-Tech machines steel, stainless steel, aluminium, titanium and engineering plastics. In-process quality assurance and statistical process control are applied to every production batch, and dimensions are verified on a Hexagon Global S coordinate measuring machine. Traceability records are kept with the batch.

Surface treatments such as anodizing and passivation are completed through partner coating companies according to the part specification.
