Metal casting manufacturers in Türkiye
Metal casting is the foundry category. Molten metal is poured into a mold to make a shape that would be slow or wasteful to machine from solid bar. The child categories on TurkIndustry separate aluminum, iron and steel. This parent page is the place to start when you know you need a casting but not yet which alloy route is right.
A foundry that pours aluminum die or gravity castings is not the same plant as an iron sand foundry or a steel shop. Pattern making, machining of the casting and heat treatment may sit with different companies. Ask what is poured in-house and what is bought as a finished, machined part. The page does not certify alloy chemistry, pressure tightness or radiographic inspection. Those are order requirements. Forging is a different process: metal is shaped by force, not poured. Use the forging category when that is what the drawing calls for.
What this category covers
The category covers cast metal parts and the foundries that produce them, including the aluminum, iron and steel lists linked below. Mold type, alloy, section thickness and the need for later machining all change the supplier. Sand, gravity, die and investment casting are not interchangeable. Name the route if you already know it.
What to compare
Choose the alloy family first, then the quantity. A die casting tool is a poor economy for a handful of parts. A sand casting may be wrong for a thin, high-volume aluminum housing. Ask who owns the pattern or die, and who machines the surfaces that must fit.
What to include in a quote request
Send the drawing, the alloy, the annual quantity and whether you need a raw casting or a machined part. Note pressure, leakage or cosmetic surfaces if they matter. Say if a pattern already exists.
Questions buyers ask
Is machining included?
Not by default. Many foundries pour the part and a machine shop cuts the fitting faces. Ask who does which step.
Is casting the same as forging?
No. Casting pours liquid metal. Forging deforms solid metal. They produce different grain and different tooling.
Does a listing prove material quality?
No. Ask for the alloy designation and the inspection you need. The category does not test chemistry.
