Industrial Filtration Systems ProductThe 9" disc diffuser is an aeration element installed on the floor of biological treatment tanks in a grid pattern, releasing air as fine bubbles through thousands of micro-slits in the membrane. On a 230 mm effective diameter there are 6800 slits; membrane material can be EPDM or silicone. The one-way membrane prevents sludge backflow when the system stops. Effective area is 0.039 m² and weight 0.65 kg; used in domestic and industrial activated sludge, MBR and SBR aeration grids.

APD1100 Plate Diffuser
Industrial Filtration Systems ProductThe APD1100 plate diffuser is a fine-bubble aeration element whose rectangular body allows denser floor coverage than disc diffusers. It offers 0.20 m² effective area on a 185×1070 mm membrane surface with a 2-25 m³/h capacity range. EPDM and silicone membranes are available. It is preferred for deep activated-sludge tanks, plants with diurnal load swings and biological aeration ahead of MBR, delivering higher air capacity per connection point.
