A turnkey filtration system is a delivery model in which the whole project sits with a single contractor. Site survey, engineering calculations, equipment manufacture or supply, duct installation, electrical and automation connections, commissioning and acceptance measurements are gathered under one contract. The service catalogues on this page belong to contractors based in Türkiye.
The main advantage of this model is undivided responsibility. If extraction turns out to be insufficient or the stack reading exceeds expectations, there is no dispute between the party that designed the system and the party that installed it. In return, the scope has to be written very precisely: which measurements will be taken, which values are guaranteed, and who provides the power supply and civil works.
In Türkiye, stack emissions from industrial plants are assessed under the Regulation on the Control of Industrial Air Pollution, while dust exposure in the workplace falls under the Dust Control Regulation. Before committing to the investment, clarify with the contractor which limit values apply and whether the acceptance measurement will be carried out against them.

Frequently asked questions
What does a turnkey scope typically include?
Site survey and measurement, air volume and pressure loss calculations, supply of the filter unit and fan, manufacture and installation of hoods and ducting, the control panel and software, commissioning and performance measurement are usually included. Civil works, compressed air lines, the main power supply and any crane requirement vary by contract and should be assigned explicitly.
What should happen at commissioning and acceptance?
Acceptance should rest on measurement, not on observing that the system runs. Air velocity and volume at the pick-up points, the pressure differential across the filter and, where required, the particulate value at the stack are measured and reported. The contract should state under what conditions and by whom these measurements are taken, and whether the report forms part of the delivery.
Will installation stop production?
Most of the installation can usually proceed while production continues, but a shutdown is planned for tie-ins to existing lines, work requiring power isolation and mounting hoods onto machines. How long that shutdown lasts and which shift it falls in should be fixed during the survey. Unplanned downtime is the most frequently overlooked cost in this investment.
What maintenance is needed after handover?
The essentials are replacing filter cartridges or bags based on monitored pressure differential, checking the compressed air line and valves of the cleaning system, periodic maintenance of fan bearings and belts, and emptying the dust hopper on schedule. Ask about lead time and price for replacement filters at contract stage, as these parts form a significant share of lifetime cost.
