OSG HS Bi-Directional Overspeed Governor

OSG HS is Aspar’s bi-directional overspeed governor in the elevator safety-equipment class. For type OSG HS the minimum rated speed is 2 m/s and the maximum rated speed is 3 m/s; the minimum sheave diameter is Ø300 mm and the rated rope diameter dnom is 6-8 mm. Bearings are double sealed ball bearings; travel direction is up and down. The governor is safety equipment under Lift Directive 2014/33/EU and complies with EN 81-20/50. The standard model basket is used on flat facades without recesses. Basket load capacity is 240 kg and self-weight is 270 kg. Two 1 kW motors provide vertical travel; Ø8 galvanized steel rope is used and excess rope is wound on a drum. The door group is steel box profile; other parts are aluminum. The basket has two safety (blockstop) brakes, two overload switches, four upper switches and two lower level switches; vertical and roof machine movements are controlled from inside the basket.

It opens hydraulically like scissors to extend the basket into the recess; balance is maintained by counterweights opening in the opposite direction. Safe access for recesses from 2 m to 5.5 m. 18-Cavity Bims Block Machine

An automatic bims (pumice-block) machine that moulds 18 blocks per cycle for high-capacity plants, using hydraulic pressing and vibration to form compact, homogeneous blocks. Each cycle moulds 18 blocks in a 3×6 layout; cycle time is 16–20 s and daily output is around 30,000 pieces depending on shifts. Standard block size is 200×400×185 mm, changeable with other mould sets. The machine footprint is 3,500×3,500 mm with 5,400 mm overall height; pressing is hydraulic at 20 kN (mix-dependent) with a frequency-adjustable electric vibration motor. Control is a PLC automatic cycle with an HMI touch panel; safety includes a light curtain, cover lock, e-stop and over-pressure protection. Manufacture follows the TS EN 1090 welding and fabrication standard.

EGEAY Machinery designs the plant according to customer demands, desired process and given capacity and makes turnkey installations of natural calcite and coated calcite plants. Material fed from the raw material bunker is transferred with belt conveyors to the crushers; materials exiting the crushers are transferred with spirals and elevators and stocked in silos. Product taken from stocking silos is ground in ball mills to the desired microns; product exiting the mill is separated by separators and goes under the filter to packaging and big bag filling machines. Calcite powder produced in these plants is used in paint, plastics, construction chemicals and food industries.

The 9" disc diffuser is an aeration element installed on the floor of biological treatment tanks in a grid pattern, releasing air as fine bubbles through thousands of micro-slits in the membrane. On a 230 mm effective diameter there are 6800 slits; membrane material can be EPDM or silicone. The one-way membrane prevents sludge backflow when the system stops. Effective area is 0.039 m² and weight 0.65 kg; used in domestic and industrial activated sludge, MBR and SBR aeration grids.
