Roof systems for trapezoidal and sandwich roofs are fastened with standard roof screws. Rails and clamps are aluminium EN AW 6063-T6; fasteners stainless A2-70; brackets stainless 304 and aluminium EN AW 6063-T6; sealing is EPDM. Module orientation is landscape or portrait. On-roof aluminium supply is 1,500 tons per month, processing EN-AW-6060, EN-AW-6063 and EN-AW-6082 with T5 and T6 heat treatment, for roof integration, waterproofing, aerodynamic design and quick installation.

Ground-Mount Systems

Land-type mounting systems are fixed systems that are designed and applied to the land according to the location, ground type, panel type and desired layout. Applications cover dual-post / single-post / east-west layouts, bifacial / monofacial modules, and driven pile / drilled-plus-concrete / concrete ballast foundations. Metal processing and galvanizing are carried out under one roof, with project-specific design and production and a Domestic Goods Certificate on all products.

Carport

ERL Solar carport systems are suitable for shopping-mall, hotel, commercial and private parking lots thanks to their ground clearance. Solar panels are mounted on parking areas with special structures at a height where vehicles can park underneath. Before installation, the mounting technique is decided after analysis by the specialist team; the architectural layout is then fixed according to the chosen design, ground conditions and sun orientation. Load and seismic calculations are completed and the structure is installed to national and international standards so that it remains serviceable in all weather throughout its service life.

GES C, Z, U and Sigma Profile Systems

GES profile systems are C, Z, U, Sigma, Plus and special-form steel purlins that hold PV modules at the design tilt and resist wind and snow loads. They are roll-formed to project length, 3D-modelled and punched for fully bolted, weld-free kit delivery. After cold forming, hot-dip galvanized members are dipped in a ~450°C zinc bath (e.g. 50-80 microns); pre-galvanized / Magnelis® / Macrolite® coil profiles add self-healing protection at cuts and holes. C sections are typically used as driven piles; lipped Z or Sigma sections as the main purlins. Oval slot holes of about 3-5 cm allow site level tolerance.

Industrial Rooftop PV Carrier Systems

For industrial rooftop PV, existing factory or warehouse roofs are surveyed: column and beam thicknesses are measured and GES dead load (module + rails) is added to snow load in the static model. If capacity is insufficient, light steel or aluminium alloy stiffeners are added to main columns or trusses. Standing-seam, trapezoidal or sandwich-panel clamps grip the ribs without drilling the sheet; mini rails, L feet and clamps are supplied. Thinner Magnelis® / ZM roll-formed profiles may be used to cut roof load. Site welding is avoided so the galvanizing stays intact; kits arrive pre-punched for bolted assembly.

Roof-top Solar Mounting Systems

Roof-top solar mounting systems are produced for flat, trapezoid and tile roofs. SM16 is a flat roof aluminum mounting system fixed by the ballast system; it is used for PV projects on large and small-sized roofs and does not require any fastener for installation. SM17 is a trapezoid roof aluminum mounting system. SM18 is a tile roof steel and aluminum mounting system. The systems are produced with advanced machinery and equipment. The high-level engineering design provides assembly and cost advantages.

C and C+ profiles are core members for industrial buildings, construction and especially solar energy carrier systems. They are mass-produced on Magafi rollform lines in different sizes and forms. Raw material is black steel sheet or galvanized sheet; coating can be EN 1461 hot-dip galvanizing or paint. For C profiles, H is 70-450 mm, B 40-120 mm, C 12-40 mm, thickness 1-6 mm, strip width 130-600 mm. Angled C profiles are used in solar structures, warehouse and hangar steel buildings, roof-wall systems and as panel carriers for solar mounting.

ISOTRAP S Trapezoidal and Sandwich Roof Mounting System

ISOTRAP S is a mounting-system family for installing PV modules horizontally or vertically on trapezoidal and sandwich-clad industrial roofs. It is offered in four profile heights — S20, S50, S60-NX and S85 (20/50/60/85 mm); each variant comes in 290, 385 and 540 mm standard lengths plus a 4,300 mm long length. Profiles are Aluminium 6063-T66; fixing uses EasyClamp universal clamps, sealed pointed screws and EPDM tapes. Weight is about 0.8 kg/m²; panel sizes L 640–1,960 mm, W 990–1,010 mm, H 30–45 mm. Application: pitched trapezoidal and sandwich roofs.

ISOFLAT S13 Flat Roof Mounting System

ISOFLAT S13 is a single-sided flat-roof mounting system that places modules at a 13° south tilt on concrete, gravel and membrane roofs and is held with ballast without drilling the roof. The system comprises the TFX-1400 short main rail, ISOFLAT BS3 rear support, Connector 150/350, EasyClamp Mid/End clamps, RUA.3 wind deflector, SBR rubber membrane and stainless A2-70 fasteners. Profiles and clamps are Aluminium 6063-T66. It was wind-tunnel tested at I.F.I. Aachen to EN 1991-1-4 (report IEI01-2). Maximum row length 15 m, minimum 550 mm from the roof edge; panel L 1,640–2,400 mm, W 990–1,303 mm, H 30–45 mm.

GES Structure Engineering

GES structure engineering simulates the site wind map for table frames and, for rooftop PV, measures column and beam thicknesses to produce a roof static report. Ground investigation decides ramming (C-section piles) versus concrete anchors. Punch coordinates go from 3D CAD to the roll-form CNC. On slopes, each row post length is calculated for south-facing terraced layout. Single-axis tracker mechanism and table engineering is included in this scope.

Solar Installation Engineering and Static Design
