Automotive Supplier Castings

TTT-casting was established to meet TTT-auto’s casting need; parts are produced to cover the technical features of the originals. TTT-auto manufactures brake-caliper repair kits for heavy-duty vehicles. Castings are 1–50 kg ductile and grey iron at 1,800 t/year.

Grey Iron Castings

Grey-iron parts of 1–50 kg are produced with ductile iron in TTT-casting’s range. A jacketed automatic moulding line of 600×700 mm at 60 moulds/hour and an 18 t/h sand plant are used. The foundry was set up in 2022 under the same roof to supply TTT-auto.

Ductile Iron Castings (1–50 kg)

TTT-casting produces ductile-iron and grey-iron parts from 1 kg to 50 kg on 3,500 m² indoor area. Annual capacity is 1,800 tonnes. From incoming material to the finished part, pattern design, casting simulation, sand tests, spectral analysis and metallographic and mechanical tests are applied.

Grey Iron Castings

Modern Döküm started with cupola grey iron in 1985 and continued grey iron after adding a 300 kg AEG induction furnace in 2002. Single pieces are cast from 0.5 kg to 1,300 kg. Sectors include machinery, paper, cement, oil refining, mining and automotive.

Ductile Iron Castings

After the 2002 induction furnace, production expanded to grey iron, ductile iron, alloyed and unalloyed steel and stainless. Ductile-iron pieces are cast from 0.5 kg to 1,300 kg. The Arifiye/Sakarya plant supplies machinery and heavy-industry customers.

Grey Iron Castings (EN-GJL)

Grey iron castings (EN-GJL grades) are produced by green sand and resin sand moulding. EN-GJL (formerly GG) is characterised by vibration damping and machinability for complex geometries needing dimensional accuracy. Parts can be delivered raw, primed or CNC machined, with ISO 9001 laboratory checks.

Ductile Iron Castings (EN-GJS)

EN-GJS (formerly GGG) ductile iron is produced by green and resin sand moulding; it offers ductility, strength and impact resistance for critical mechanical and structural parts. Castings are exported from the Konya foundry to Europe. Chemical analysis, mechanical testing and NDT are applied batch by batch.

Ductile Iron Castings

Ductile-iron castings are one of Morçelik’s main product groups with grey iron and steel. Output is 11,000 t/year from Konya 3rd OIZ with up to 10-tonne melts and more than 40 years of foundry experience. The plant holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 and runs a seven-step process.

Grey Iron Castings

Morçelik produces grey-iron castings as part of 11,000 t/year of iron and steel output in the 7,000 m² Konya 3rd OIZ plant. Melting is up to 10 tonnes per heat with high-rate pouring. Parts follow a SolidWorks drawing through modelling, sand preparation, melting, moulding, cleaning/grinding and quality control.

Cast Park and Garden Equipment

Besides industrial castings, Kılavuz manufactures park and garden accessories, park equipment and coatings. The catalogue includes outdoor lighting, tables, chairs, benches, fountains, balustrades, post boxes and accessories. Parts are cast in the 1–5,000 kg range.

As an OEM, EK SEN produces and machines grey-iron and ductile-iron castings to drawings and specifications. Casting sits alongside machining as a core manufacturing method. Secondary heat treatment and coating requested by the project are carried out with specialist suppliers under EK SEN’s responsibility.

Induction Melting

Melting is on induction furnaces of 2×1 t/h. Annual casting capacity is 1,800 tonnes. A 90,000 m³/h filter system ventilates furnaces and the shop. Piece weight is 1–50 kg in ductile and grey iron.

Spectral and Metallographic Testing

Pre-pour spectral analysis of the melt and post-cast metallographic and mechanical tests are applied. Pattern design, casting simulation and moulding-sand tests are also part of the process. The aim is that products cover all technical features of the original parts.

Single-Piece Casting 0.5–1,300 kg

Single-piece castings from 0.5 kg to 1,300 kg are produced. Materials are grey iron, ductile iron, alloyed and unalloyed steel and stainless steel. The shop that started with a cupola moved into this weight and grade range with the 2002 AEG induction furnace.

Induction Melting and Casting

In 2002 a 300 kg AEG induction furnace was added, expanding from cupola grey iron to grey iron, ductile iron, alloyed and unalloyed steel and stainless. Single pieces are 0.5–1,300 kg. The plant is at Hanlı Merkez Mahallesi, Boncuk Sokak No:5, Arifiye, Sakarya.

European Casting Export

From the Konya foundry, machined and unmachined castings are regularly exported to industrial customers in Germany, France, Italy and other EU markets, with export documentation and logistics. The group is an export company (An Dış Ticaret) plus two ISO 9001 foundries. Grey iron, ductile iron and steel have been supplied since 1990.

Kılavuz casts red bronze from 1 kg to 5,000 kg. Bronze is part of the same range as grey iron, ductile iron, steel, stainless and aluminium. Park furniture and industrial parts are made at the same plant from drawings, including pattern work.

CNC machining of castings on Mazak 5-axis vertical mills, lathes and milling centres. Manhole covers through to automotive brackets are delivered machined ready for assembly under IATF 16949 and EN 124-2; the site states 31,700 machining hours per year.
