About
Modern Döküm started in 1985 as “Modern Döküm Atölyesi”, pouring grey iron in a cupola. In 2002 a 300 kg AEG induction furnace was added to the plant, and production expanded to grey iron, ductile iron, alloyed and unalloyed steel, stainless steel and related grades.
Single-piece castings from 0.5 kg to 1,300 kg are produced. Main sectors served are machinery manufacture, paper, cement, oil refining, mining and automotive.

Steel and Stainless Castings
Since 2002 Modern Döküm has poured alloyed and unalloyed steel and stainless steel (and related grades) on the induction furnace. Piece weight is 0.5 kg to 1,300 kg. Sectors include paper, cement, oil refining, mining and automotive.
Grey Iron Castings
Modern Döküm started with cupola grey iron in 1985 and continued grey iron after adding a 300 kg AEG induction furnace in 2002. Single pieces are cast from 0.5 kg to 1,300 kg. Sectors include machinery, paper, cement, oil refining, mining and automotive.
Ductile Iron Castings
After the 2002 induction furnace, production expanded to grey iron, ductile iron, alloyed and unalloyed steel and stainless. Ductile-iron pieces are cast from 0.5 kg to 1,300 kg. The Arifiye/Sakarya plant supplies machinery and heavy-industry customers.

Single-piece castings from 0.5 kg to 1,300 kg are produced. Materials are grey iron, ductile iron, alloyed and unalloyed steel and stainless steel. The shop that started with a cupola moved into this weight and grade range with the 2002 AEG induction furnace.
Induction Melting and Casting
In 2002 a 300 kg AEG induction furnace was added, expanding from cupola grey iron to grey iron, ductile iron, alloyed and unalloyed steel and stainless. Single pieces are 0.5–1,300 kg. The plant is at Hanlı Merkez Mahallesi, Boncuk Sokak No:5, Arifiye, Sakarya.
