Fresh milk from Sütaş Farm is packed without being touched, keeping its nutritional value. Long-life Sütaş milks receive heat treatment at 135-150 °C for 2-4 seconds so naturality and nutritiveness are preserved, then filled on special machines in a sterile environment into special packs that stay fresh at room temperature until opened. Pack sizes include 1 L and 200 ml. 200 ml covers 30 percent of daily calcium need and contains 6 g protein. Per 100 ml: 61 kcal, 3.5 g fat, 3.0 g protein, 120 mg calcium.

Sütaş Yogurt

Sütaş combines the natural and fresh milk of its farms with its craftsmanship to offer yogurts of distinctive taste and texture. The range includes cream-on-top, plain, tava and strained yogurt. Sütaş Kaymaklı Yogurt is made only from cow’s milk and yogurt culture, with no preservatives. 1 kg of cream-on-top yogurt is obtained from at least 1.5 L of milk. Per 100 g: 73 kcal, 3.8 g fat, 4.0 g protein, 150 mg calcium, covering 19 percent of daily calcium need. It was the first yogurt to carry the production date on the pack as a freshness guarantee.

Sütaş Ayran

Sütaş Ayran quenches thirst with a drinkable consistency liked from ages 7 to 70. Ingredients are yogurt, water and salt; it contains no added sugar, only the lactose naturally present in milk. Packs include 2.5 L, 2 L, 1.5 L, 1 L, 300 ml, 300 ml glass bottle, 225 ml, 200 ml, 175 ml and multipacks. Per 100 ml: 32 kcal, 1.8 g fat, 2.0 g protein, 0.6 g salt, 80 mg calcium. One glass (250 ml) covers 25 percent of daily calcium need.

Natural spring water is filled without hand contact in a controlled area, and checked with physical, chemical and microbiological tests from spring to filling. It is part of the glass bottle line filled under European Union standards for export markets.

Spring water from Bolu Abant and Gölcük sources is filled into glass after physical, chemical and microbiological checks. Together with the 0.33 L size it is offered for foreign trade under European Union filling standards.

In 2011 Abant Su produced Turkey’s first 19 L glass carboy, bringing a new format to bottled water. The 19 L glass carboy serves home and office use; under the deposit procedure, the deposit paid is returned in full when the product is returned. Water is tested from spring to filling and bottled under hygienic conditions.

Glucose Syrup

Glucose syrups are syrups produced as a result of liquefaction of starch with enzymatic methods. They are used to prevent crystallization, improve the structure of the product, provide brightness, reduce the high taste caused by sugar, and provide moisture balance. Hasal Tarım products are low DE glucose syrups (38-42 DE), high DE glucose syrups (58-62 DE) and high maltose glucose syrups (40-44 DE). Usage areas include ice cream, halva, jam, dried fruit, Turkish delight, fruit preparations, gum, sauces, confectionery, sweets with syrup and bakery products.

Starch is a complex carbohydrate that is insoluble in water (except pregel starches). It is a tasteless and odorless powder obtained mostly from cereals, potatoes and tapioca. It is used in industry to make glue, paper and textile products. In the food industry, it is the filling material used for thickener and viscosity adjustment. Native starches are obtained from corn, wheat, potatoes, tapioca, rice and peas and are used according to the desired product, its consistency and gelling temperature. Dairy Farming Training and Consultancy

Since 1998 we provide free training and consultancy to producers, students and entrepreneurs at our training centers to encourage more informed and productive dairy farming in Turkey. We have provided free dairy farming training to 20,000 producers and over 35,000 entrepreneurs and students to date. The first applied training center opened in 1998 at Karacabey Integrated Facilities under a protocol with Uludağ University; programs continue at centers in Aksaray and Bingöl with the local universities. In 2000 a protocol with the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry enabled farmers to receive ministry-approved certificates on completing the course.

In 2011 breeding started with 130 cattle at a 400-head facility in Alören, Safranbolu, and organic farming began through land leases.
