As stated on our Assembly page, we deliver safety, sustainability, comfort and design for the complete-seat market from a single source spanning design, engineering, manufacturing and assembly. Series production includes X98 Renault Clio IV seats, Ford Cargo seats and Mercedes-Benz Daimler headrests, with Renault Clio V (BJA) seat lines in the program. Shipments follow JIT and JIS logistics; the Flexline covers frame assembly, seat dressing and electrical–visual inspection.

Ford Transit

Transit is recognized worldwide as the longest-lived model in Ford Europe’s product portfolio. Known for durability, quality and reliability, Transit has been rolling off Ford Otosan lines since 1967. With more than 8 million units produced globally since 1965, Transit remains one of the world’s most preferred commercial vehicle models. The Gölcük Plant, with an annual Transit production capacity of 160,000 units, is the lead production center for Ford Transit. Ford Otosan also holds responsibility for series production of Ford’s fully electric Transit for Europe.

Ford Transit Custom / Tourneo Custom

Ford Custom, a popular European commercial vehicle model, is produced at the Gölcük Plant in Transit and Tourneo versions. With 180,000 units of Custom capacity, Gölcük is the world’s sole production center for Ford Custom. Transit Custom and Tourneo Custom stand out with strong sales and customer demand especially in Europe. Transit Custom Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV) and EcoBlue Hybrid models, whose manufacturing engineering belongs to Ford Otosan and which were firsts in their segment, received the 2020 International Van of the Year (IVOTY) award.

Ford Otosan

New Generation Ecotorq Engine

Developed with 100% Ford Otosan engineering, the New Generation Ecotorq is the first and only truck engine developed and produced in Türkiye. Ecotorq engines are produced at E6 (Euro 6) for Türkiye and at E3, E5 or E6 levels according to export market requirements, and power Ford Trucks models. New Generation Ecotorq engines in 9 L and 13 L displacements deliver 330 PS, 420 PS and 480 PS. With Euro 6 technology offering about 7–10% fuel savings versus the previous generation, Ecotorq is produced at the Eskişehir Plant.

Door Panel

At its Bursa Organized Industrial Zone plant, OTOTRIM designs and manufactures door panels as part of its automotive interior trim range. Production uses robotic systems, automated lines and high-precision molding for OEM projects. Backed by Diniz Holding and Grupo Antolin know-how, the door panel line covers assembly and sub-assembly processes.

Headliner

Producing headliners since 1994, OTOTRIM designs and manufactures vehicle interior headliners at its Bursa plant. Headliners are a core product group; at Gölcük Diniz Supplier Park, headliner assembly and sequencing feed OEM lines under JIT/JIS principles. Production is supported by robotic and automated lines.

Sun Visor

Sun visors (including side sun visors) are among OTOTRIM’s core automotive interior trim products. At the Bursa OSB plant they are made on robotic and automated lines, including vanity-mirror variants matched to the vehicle headliner for OEM programs. Grupo Antolin-supported engineering is part of product development.

JIT & JIS Seat Assembly

Assembly runs on Adient’s patented Flexline where capacity can be raised by adding operators. The line has three sections: frame assembly, seat dressing and electrical–visual inspection. Trim covers, foam, seat components, headrests, undercovers and armrests are sequenced via AGC; tightening uses electric tools and cushion–back frame join is robotic. After all Poka-Yokes pass OK, SRS (automatic storage and dispatch) ships the seat to the customer in JIS sequence.

Headliner Assembly and Sequencing

At the Kocaeli / Gölcük Diniz Supplier Park site (20,736 m²), OTOTRIM runs headliner assembly and sequencing. Integrated with OEM lines under Just-In-Time (JIT) and Just-In-Sequence (JIS) principles, the operation supports line efficiency and continuity. With 272 employees, the Gölcük site strengthens post-production assembly and logistics capability.
