About
Our company was founded in Istanbul in 2002 to produce spacers and formwork accessories. From 2004 it decided to manufacture moulds for ribbed slabs, which have a wide use in construction.
For many years the moulds used in ribbed-slab systems were made of glass-reinforced polyester (GRP). Product-development work was started to remove the disadvantages of those materials in use and after use. Design and development were carried out jointly with Istanbul Technical University so that products would meet the needs of the growing construction sector in the most economical and functional way. Since 2011 all of our products have been manufactured in-house at our plant in Çorlu, Tekirdağ. In the laboratory we set up at the Çorlu plant we carry out, again in-house, the work needed to keep quality standards and to produce according to the climate conditions in which the products will be used.

Waffle Mould (Two-Way Ribbed Slab)
Waffle moulds are produced for two-way ribbed slabs, with 72 standard sizes and a target of more than 100 uses. Daily output is 250–500 moulds. They are 50–60 percent lighter than GRP moulds, are stripped by hand and are 100 percent recyclable; LEED-candidate use is stated. All production has been in-house at the Çorlu plant since 2011.
Lamolen One-Way Ribbed (Channel) Mould
Lamolen is a channel mould for one-way ribbed (asmolen) slabs. It is offered in six depths and ten types; concrete savings of up to 60 percent are published with the D1–D10 table of weight, depth and beam data. It is positioned as a lighter, recyclable plastic mould versus GRP. It is produced at the Çorlu plant and intended for repeated site use.
Plata Formwork Panel
Plata is a plastic formwork panel developed to answer cost, reuse count, stripping, consumables, maintenance, storage, supply, recycling and chemical resistance versus wood, steel and PVC. It is LAM’s panel line from a company that has made ribbed-slab moulds since 2004. Product development with ITU targets the economical and functional needs of construction. Production is in the integrated Çorlu plant.
Services
Formwork Rental
LAM Plastik and Kasetkalip offer waffle and asmolen moulds for rental as well as sale. Uses abroad where return is not possible are directed to sale; domestic sites are served from rental stock. Because the moulds are designed for more than 100 uses, the rental cycle is kept economical. Delivery and stripping advice are given together with project services.
Formwork Manufacturing
According to the Kasetkalip services page, moulds are made from virgin material (100+ uses) or recycled material (80 percent of original character). Ribbed-slab moulds have been produced since 2004 at the Istanbul office and the Çorlu plant. Daily waffle-mould capacity of 250–500 and laboratory quality control are in-house. Size and material are chosen to the customer’s project.
Project Consulting
Project consulting is offered for ribbed-slab mould selection, sizing and concrete-saving calculations. Design and product development were carried out jointly with Istanbul Technical University. The Çorlu laboratory checks quality standards and production for the climate of use. Consulting covers site application of the waffle, Lamolen and Plata lines.
