CNC turning makes round and rotational parts by spinning the workpiece against a cutting tool. Buyers come here for shafts, pins, bushings, sleeves, fittings, pulleys and similar components cut from bar, tube or billet. The category is specifically lathe work, not general machining and not sheet-metal fabrication.
Turkish suppliers on this page may run conventional CNC lathes or machines with driven tools. Driven tools can drill or mill a small feature, but that is not the same as a machining center for a prismatic housing. Ask what is actually cut on the lathe and what is sent to another shop. Diameters, lengths and materials differ widely between a small precision shop and a plant set up for heavier bar work. TurkIndustry does not rank those differences. The profile and a direct question do.
What this category covers
Turning covers outside and inside diameters, grooves, faces, threads and bored holes on rotational parts. Common materials are carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum and brass. Secondary steps such as milling a keyway, grinding a bearing fit or plating are separate questions. State them instead of assuming they are included.
What to compare
Look at the diameter and length the shop says it can hold, the materials it cuts, and whether the work is prototype or repeating production. A supplier listed under CNC turning is not automatically a precision-grinding shop. If the drawing has a tight bearing seat, ask how that diameter is finished and checked.
What to include in a quote request
Include the drawing, material grade, quantity, the critical diameters and threads, and any heat treatment or coating. Say whether the blank is your material or the supplier’s. For a repeating part, share the batch size rather than only the annual total.
Questions buyers ask
Do I need a 3D model?
A dimensioned drawing is enough to start. A STEP file is useful, but material, quantity and the tolerances on the critical diameters still have to be written down.
Can one lathe shop also mill the part?
Some can add small milled features with driven tools. Ask. A part that is mostly prismatic still belongs with a milling supplier.
Does the page confirm export experience?
No. Export activity is a separate profile statement. Being in this category does not mean the company has shipped the part you need.
