Bolts
Standard bolts to DIN-ISO-ANSI standards and special bolts to customer samples and technical drawings are produced by cold forging. Production capacity covers diameters from M3-Ø3 to M20-Ø22 and lengths from 7 mm to 160 mm. Raw material is sourced to ISO EN 10263 and processed on 3- to 6-station horizontal cold forging presses and 27 thread rolling machines.
Studs
The stud production line produces studs to DIN-ISO-ANSI standards and to customer technical drawings. Raw material is calibrated to the required diameter on 3 wire drawing machines with Ø25 mm, Ø14 mm and Ø12 mm capacity and zinc phosphate coated in an 8-station plant. Parts are formed on cold forging presses and thread rolling machines.
Screws
The screw production line produces standard screws to DIN-ISO-ANSI standards and special screws for automotive customers by cold forging. It works in the M3-Ø3 to M20-Ø22 diameter and 7-160 mm length range. Products pass 100% inspection on sorting machines with 4, 4 and 7 cameras running at an average of 100 pieces per minute.
Services
Heat Treatment
The heat treatment line has 2 heat treatment furnaces with a total capacity of 1250 kg/h (750 kg/h and 500 kg/h). The furnaces have PLC-controlled dephosphating systems and are Tofaş approved. The mechanical properties of cold forged bolts, screws and special parts are achieved on this line.
Laboratory and 100% Quality Control
The laboratory has a tensile tester for yield and tensile strength, spectral analysis, a 1000x microscope, Eddy-Current surface crack detection, Rockwell and micro Vickers hardness testers, profile projection and a 3-gas analyser. In the 86 m² 100% inspection area, entire lots are checked with machine and visual sorting stations.
Machining (Secondary Operations)
Secondary special operations requested by customers are performed on cold forged parts, or features that cannot be made by cold forging are created. Parts of different shapes and sizes are machined from bar stock based on customer technical drawings. The line has 8" and 6" CNC lathes, A42 turret lathes, transfer and tapping machines.
