Plastic injection molding in Türkiye
Plastic injection molding makes thermoplastic parts by injecting melt into a closed mold. Buyers use it for housings, clips, caps, technical components and other parts whose shape is justified by a tool and a repeating quantity. It is not the same as plastic extrusion, and it is not rubber molding.
The expensive object is often the mold, not the first box of parts. Some Turkish companies cut the mold and mold the parts. Others only mold with a tool you already own, or only build the mold. Custom injection molding and plastic molds are separate listings for that reason. Ask who designs the tool, who owns it, and where the resin is molded. A listing does not promise a cleanroom, a food-contact grade or a particular machine tonnage. Resin, color, cavity count and the cosmetic faces all change the quote.
What this category covers
The category covers injection-molded thermoplastic parts and the companies that mold them. Typical resins include polypropylene, polyethylene, ABS, polyamide and polycarbonate when the molder actually runs them. Insert molding, overmolding and a high cosmetic surface are special requests. Extrusion, blow molding and rubber molding are different processes.
What to compare
Separate toolmaking from molding. Then compare press size only against your part and cavity plan, using figures the company publishes. A prototype printed in plastic is not an injection-molded part. Annual volume decides whether a multi-cavity tool makes sense.
What to include in a quote request
Send the 3D model, the resin, the annual quantity, the color and which surfaces are cosmetic. Say whether you need a new mold or already have one. Note inserts, threads and any assembly. A material name without a grade is incomplete.
Questions buyers ask
Is extrusion on this page?
No. Extrusion makes continuous profiles. Injection molding makes discrete parts from a closed mold. Plastic extrusion has its own category.
Can the molder also design the part?
Some can advise on draft and wall thickness. Design responsibility should be stated. A category listing is not a design contract.
