Skin and hair serums, aromatic and herbal oils, personal-care products, hair care, skin care, hand and foot care, perfumes, dermo-cosmetics, men’s care, deodorants, soaps and sun-care products are manufactured. Raw materials used have passed tests and are predominantly of Swiss origin. Production takes place in GMP-certified facilities. Forms include shampoo, serum, cream, foam and hand soap.

Food Supplements

Changing living and working conditions have also changed eating habits. People use food supplements to complement a normal diet and to take vitamins and minerals to support the immune system. Supplements are prepared in various forms using vitamins, minerals, proteins, amino acids, plants, enzymes, fibre and fatty acids: tablets, capsules, single-use powder sachets, drinks and similar. Vitalab manufactures these forms as contract manufacturing and under its own brands under GMP and ISO 22000.

Special Sugar Syrups

Hasal Tarım produces sugar syrups on the basis of special prescriptions for companies. Products include Şefin Şerbeti Baklava Syrup and Şefin Şerbeti Tulumba Syrup; usage areas are desserts with syrup such as baklava and tulumba. Invert sugar production is also among the company’s fields of activity. Custom syrup recipes are prepared for syruped desserts to prevent crystallization, improve structure, provide brightness and maintain moisture balance.

Formulation

Formulation work for food supplements, sports nutrition, functional foods and cosmetics is carried out in the R&D centre and application laboratories. Raw materials are sourced by the technical team within at most one week. Prototypes and pilot runs are done to GMP standards.

Pilot Production

Small-quantity production is used so that the market situation can be assessed in advance. The R&D page states that prototypes and pilot applications are run to GMP standards. This step is used to verify a formulation before full-scale contract manufacturing.

Contract Manufacturing

Production uses a closed system, ISO 22000/HACCP design, horizontal flow, one-way traffic, HEPA and an antibacterial floor. Forms include capsule, tablet, softgel, powder, syrup, drop, oral spray, paste, tea, single-use (PVC and aluminium), gummy and cosmetics (shampoo, serum, cream, foam, hand soap). Plant capacity is stated as 3 million boxes per year; products are exported to 10 countries.

Sardes is a contract manufacturer for many international brands. It prepares large and small retail/wholesale packs and also bulk. The Salihli OSB plant runs this on organic and conventional lines. The brand recipe comes with the order.
