Mineral insulated thermocouples can be used under a wide range of conditions, environments and temperatures. The catalog covers standard mineral insulated thermocouples usable up to 1200°C. Because they are bendable and available in small diameters, they offer broad use in portable applications. Within their temperature limits they can be routed like cable in the working environment. They are preferred for tracking under-carriage temperatures in long tunnel furnaces or for mapping a furnace temperature profile.
