Custom Nonwoven ManufacturingAt the 5,000 m2 Torbalı OSB plant, 100% polypropylene SS spunbond is produced to requested weight (10–120 g/m2), colour, width and roll length. Additives can be used for hydrophilic, UV-resistant, flame-retardant/heat-resistant, antistatic, soft or antibacterial fabrics. Cross and machine-direction tensile testing and in-line camera inspection are done on site. Meltblown and ultrasonic quilting belong to the same nonwoven operation.

Technical Textile R&D
Technical Textile R&DAll three ultrasonic quilting machines were developed by the in-house R&D team, which also designs vacuum-cleaner dust bags. On the spunbond line, additives confer hydrophilic, UV, flame-retardant, antistatic, soft and antibacterial properties. Tensile testing and in-line cameras monitor quality. OEKO-TEX Standard 100 covers spunbond produced at the Torbalı branch.
