Acid Tanks
Process / Storage TankSpecial stainless steel acid tanks are manufactured for corrosive chemicals such as sulfuric, hydrochloric, phosphoric and nitric acid used in chemistry, petrochemistry, fertilizer and metal processing. Tanks are produced from AISI 304, 316L, 316Ti, 904L and duplex stainless steel, from 500 litres to 100 tons, in vertical or horizontal layouts with insulation, agitators and heating/cooling jackets. Welding is TIG/MIG to approved WPS/PQR procedures, with NDT (PT, RT, UT), hydrostatic leak testing and EN 13445 / PED / ASME compliance.

Agitated Tank / ReactorChemical, process, agitated and pressure reactors are manufactured for chemistry, pharmaceutical, petrochemistry, food and cosmetics. Capacities run from 100 litres to 50 m³ in AISI 304, 316L, 316Ti, 904L and duplex stainless steel for high temperature, pressure, vacuum and aggressive media. Options include anchor, propeller, turbine and high-shear agitators, half-pipe/dimple/conventional jackets, condensers and safety fittings, plus mechanical polishing (Ra 0.8–0.4 µm) and electro-polishing.

Shell-and-Tube Heat ExchangerA heat exchanger transfers heat between two fluids at different temperatures without mixing them. Konuk Isı manufactures shell-and-tube units to the customer drawing or to a custom design in TEMA and ASME Division VIII. Units can weigh up to 100 tonnes and run up to 25 m long, with a minimum tube diameter of 12 mm. Materials include carbon steel, stainless, duplex, special alloys (mostly 825 and 625), copper, brass and titanium. Design follows TEMA RCB, HEI, HTRI/HTFS thermal rating, API 660 and CFD on request. Typical tube diameters are 1/2", 3/4" and 1" with wall thickness from 1 to 2.6 mm. Tube-to-tubesheet joints are welded, expanded, or welded plus light expanding according to the material.

The RCS and RCD series offer cooling capacities from 20 kW to 1500 kW and are manufactured for high efficiency and low pressure drop under standard operating conditions. Shell-and-Tube Heat ExchangerRefkar Shell & Tube condensers are used in industrial and comfort cooling units. The RK (RKC-RKS-RKT) series is manufactured for cooling capacities from 20 kW to 1680 kW under standard operating conditions, with high efficiency and low pressure drop. RYL Series Oil Cooling Heat Exchanger
Shell-and-Tube Heat ExchangerOil cooling heat exchangers are produced for heat-transfer fluids, lubricating oils and cooling oils. Standard production covers four groups (RYL, RYG, RYS, RYSM) including fresh-water and seawater-cooled models. Standard oil exchangers are designed for a maximum 12 bar operating pressure, tested with 18 bar nitrogen, and can operate up to 120 °C. Design uses Unilab, HTRI, Siemens NX and mechanical TS EN 13445; custom units can be made for other pressures and temperatures.
