Metal Detector Conveyor
Conveyors ProductMetal detectors used for detection and separation can be adapted onto a conveyor so inspection runs without stopping production flow. In food, pharmaceutical and recycling applications, bulk and packed products can be checked for metal pieces, nails, washers, needles and similar foreign bodies. Removal of metal-containing product can be manual or automatic. In manual use, a light or sound alarm stops the conveyor when metal is detected. In automatic use the contaminated item is rejected by a side-push piston, diverting arm, air blast or downward belt movement.
