A busbar is a prefabricated modular system designed to distribute and carry electrical energy. The carrier is tin-plated; aluminium or copper conductors are insulated and placed in a metal housing. Press-Welded Foil Busbar

Press-welded copper foil links are made by stacking 0.10–0.30 mm (also stated 0.10–0.50 mm) Cu-HCP strips and welding the ends under press without filler, at high pressure and heat. U or S shapes take two-way machine movement. Contact areas can be tin-, nickel- or silver-plated by electrolysis or hot dip. Material is CU-ETP; welded ends can be cut, drilled or milled. Uses include busbar systems, cells, generators, in-panel switch links and machine/motor interconnects.

Braided Flexible Busbar

Flexible connections are used in LV and HV where vibration and shock are high, because they are moving elements. Armonitel makes standard and special braided flexible busbars that transfer high current. They are made from electrolytic copper wire (bare or tinned); contact faces may be bare, tinned or silver-plated. Heat-shrink sleeve or PVC sheath insulation is possible; current capacity may then fall by 10%. Uses include busbar systems, generators, transformer/bushing links, HV load and earthing switches, panel connections and high-heat/shock applications.

Miksan has produced vibration motors since 2003. At Beylikdüzü it manufactures electrical vibration motors from 0.2 kN to 90.2 kN in 2-, 4-, 6- and 8-pole versions. Casings from VA to VE series are high-alloy aluminium; higher centrifugal-force VE to VL series use nodular cast iron (GGG 50). Micro vibration motors reach up to 60 kgf (0.58 kN), with cast-aluminium body, adjustable centrifugal force, IP65, insulation class F, S1 duty and −15 °C to +40 °C ambient. Standard supply is 230 V single-phase or 230 Δ/400 Y V three-phase, 50–60 Hz.

MIKSAN manufactures three-phase general-purpose squirrel-cage asynchronous motors from frame size 56 to 132. Motors are designed to IEC and DIN norms and TSE standards and carry CE marking. Terminal boxes are aluminium from frame 90 upward and plastic on smaller frames; end shields are aluminium alloy, fitted tightly to the housing. Rotors are packed from low-watt-loss silicon steel and aluminium die-cast to form the short-circuit rings.
