About
Founded in Adana in 1956 by doctors, chemists, pharmacists and agricultural engineers combining their knowledge and savings, HEKTAŞ is a pioneering organization contributing to the development of Turkish agriculture with a 70-year heritage. Its first crop protection production facility started in Istanbul Cevizli in 1962; in 1991 it moved to the modern Gebze Organized Industrial Zone plant, strengthening its sector position.
Today HEKTAŞ is a strong agricultural company adding value at every stage of agricultural production through innovative solutions in crop protection, plant nutrition, seed and smart farming technologies. It offers more than 400 crop protection and plant nutrition products through 6 regional directorates. Organomineral fertilizer production in Adana started in 2005.

HEKTAŞ BORDO® FLOWABLE
An SC formulation fungicide containing 124 g/l copper equivalent to Bordeaux mixture. In grape downy mildew, the first application is made when shoot length is 25-30 cm; in apple scab at pink bud stage. In tomato late blight, application starts when a whitish conidial cover is seen on the underside of leaves.
HEKTAZONE® EXTRA
An SL herbicide with 400 g/l bentazone + 60 g/l MCPA. It can be used in rice at any stage; effective when weeds have 2-4 leaves. Fields are drained two days before application and reflooded 48 hours after.
SUPER HEKTAMETHRIN® 100 EC
An EC insecticide containing 100 g/L alphacypermethrin. Apple codling moth control should follow forecast and early warning systems, targeting larvae before they enter fruit. For corn borers, three applications at 15-day intervals start at first egg detection.
