Founded in Adana in 1956 by doctors, chemists, pharmacists and agricultural engineers combining their knowledge and savings, HEKTAŞ is a pioneering organization contributing to the development of Turkish agriculture with a 70-year heritage. Its first crop protection production facility started in Istanbul Cevizli in 1962; in 1991 it moved to the modern Gebze Organized Industrial Zone plant, strengthening its sector position.

Today HEKTAŞ is a strong agricultural company adding value at every stage of agricultural production through innovative solutions in crop protection, plant nutrition, seed and smart farming technologies. It offers more than 400 crop protection and plant nutrition products through 6 regional directorates. Organomineral fertilizer production in Adana started in 2005.
