18-Cavity Bims Block Machine
An automatic bims (pumice-block) machine that moulds 18 blocks per cycle for high-capacity plants, using hydraulic pressing and vibration to form compact, homogeneous blocks. Each cycle moulds 18 blocks in a 3×6 layout; cycle time is 16–20 s and daily output is around 30,000 pieces depending on shifts. Standard block size is 200×400×185 mm, changeable with other mould sets. The machine footprint is 3,500×3,500 mm with 5,400 mm overall height; pressing is hydraulic at 20 kN (mix-dependent) with a frequency-adjustable electric vibration motor. Control is a PLC automatic cycle with an HMI touch panel; safety includes a light curtain, cover lock, e-stop and over-pressure protection. Manufacture follows the TS EN 1090 welding and fabrication standard.
Paddle Mixer
A heavy-duty paddle mixer designed to knead aggregate, cement, perlite and additives into a homogeneous bims mix, using horizontal-shaft paddle elements at low speed with high kneading energy. Trough volume is 2.5 m³ (custom sizes available); trough length 2,750 mm, width 1,500 mm, height 1,300 mm, in St 37 / St 52 steel plate. Two counter-rotating horizontal shafts carry six paddle groups each (12 wear-resistant cast-steel paddles in total). Shaft speed is 16 rpm; drive is a dual 2×30 kW motor-gearbox set. Discharge is through a hydraulic slide gate in the trough floor. Control is PLC cycle or an electrical panel; safety includes interlocked covers, overload protection and e-stop. Manufacture follows TS EN 1090.
Bims Machine Stacking Robot
An automatic stacking robot that picks fresh bims blocks from the moulding machine and transfers them to a stacking pallet or curing area. Portal width is about 2,000 mm depending on plant layout; Z-axis stroke max. 2,000 mm, X-axis stroke max. 5,500 mm; cycle time about 5 s per pass, matched to the block machine. The gripper is a clamping rubber type with eight rubber heads, 6–8 bar air and max. 300 kg per pass. Drive is a frequency-inverter motor-gearbox; positioning accuracy ±2 mm. Control is PLC motion with a touch HMI; the portal is St 37 / St 52 steel profile. Safety includes a light curtain, e-stop and mechanical end-limit switches. Manufacture follows TS EN 1090.
Services
Turnkey Plant Installation and Assembly
Infrastructure for the machines is planned, all equipment is shipped to site and installed in place. After installation, trial production is run and the plant is handed over turnkey, ready to operate. AK-EM Makina manages industrial plants from layout through equipment placement, site assembly and commissioning. Site survey, layout and execution drawings, procurement and work programme, mechanical installation, alignment and running checks are completed; the line is delivered production-ready after trial operation.
Machine and Integrated Automation Manufacturing
AK-EM Makina combines mechanical design, electrical-automation infrastructure and on-site integration in one project. It manufactures manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic block machines with 12- or 18-cavity pressing capacity, and also builds plant equipment such as mixers, overlapping conveyors, lifting elevators and automation panels. PLC and HMI handle cycle control, recipes, alarms and operator screens matched to the process; servo, drives and hydraulic-pneumatic motion are integrated with line synchronisation. The built system is installed on site and prepared for production through I/O checks, safety tests and process trials.
Custom Mould Design and Manufacturing
Machine moulds are manufactured so different products can be pressed on one machine. Steel moulds for bims, interlocking paving, kerbs and asmolen are produced to exact dimensions on computer-aided CNC machines. AK-EM Makina takes custom machines and moulds from concept to a working product. Design, material selection, machining, assembly and testing follow a single engineering approach. The mould set, core, plates, guidance and fasteners are engineered to the part geometry and process; critical surfaces and dimensions are checked throughout production.
