We design and develop sophisticated fabrics that combine comfort and style by following rising trends. Collections are presented as two seasonal collections and six capsule collections each year. Excellent fabric quality and a wide range of materials help global brands create fashionable garments. Lines include Proloom, Premiumline, jacquard, Fine Basic Line, underwear and printed knits, offered in different weights, prints, colours and textures. A design team of over 30 specialists also produces bespoke fabrics to order.

Activewear performance fabrics

Performance fabrics are engineered with technical properties developed by the in-house R&D centre and are used by activewear brands worldwide. The performance line offers advanced moisture management, air permeability, durable dynamic knits, long-lasting functionality and odour control. The comfort range is designed for yoga and travel garments with four-way stretch, light weight, high breathability and shape retention. Outdoor knits use thermal insulation channels for warmth in cold weather and a cool, dry feel in heat; the innovative collection includes Cordura, Coolmax Ecomade, Nilit Breeze and wool blends.

Circular knitting production

Dyeing, Finishing and Wash

The knitting department is equipped with the latest technology for production versatility, fast reaction and competitive lead times. 235 modern knitting machines, partly powered by on-site solar panels, provide a fabric production capacity of 40 tons per day and 15,000 tons per year. On the knitting floor, IoT monitoring and AI-supported image processing catch fabric faults during production. Flexible production can be delivered in 2–3 weeks according to customer needs.

Fabric dyeing and finishing

The dyeing section uses automated dye and chemical distribution with 38 jet dyeing machines and annual capacity above 16,400 tons: 40 tons per day jet dyeing and 20 tons pad-batch. All processes from yarn to finished fabric are tracked by barcode. The in-house colour laboratory with DataColour measurement can run 700 lab dips per day. Finishing comprises 11 rams, 1 chain dryer, 2 open-width sanforisers, 1 tubular sanforiser, 1 carbon machine, 6 raising machines, 1 shearing, 1 sueding, 2 special-effect and 15 quality-control machines, equipped with course counters, pyrometer weightex, automatic weight measurement and moisture control.

Fabric Development and Manufacturing

A design team of over 30 specialists collaborates with professional fashion designers to produce fabrics that match customer needs and bespoke developments. Around 250 new fabric designs are created each month for fashion, with new qualities presented every three weeks. The in-house digital fabric library registers fabrics with full specifications and performance history. Digital printing capacity is 10,000 metres per day: reactive print on cotton, viscose and blends, and acid print on nylon, including polyamide qualities for swimwear and activewear.

Goren Socks runs sock knitting on 50 Lonati circular knitting machines at its Istanbul factory, with capacity up to 15,000 pairs per day. The production chain covers knitting, toe linking, washing, ironing, QC, labeling, and packaging — finishing steps in-house or via long-standing Istanbul partners. Lonati machines, the European hosiery standard, can knit logos, stripes, and color blocks into the sock. QC checks fit consistency, elasticity, color, and construction on every batch. Custom Sock Knitting

Custom sock knitting on a 26-machine floor in Istanbul. Socks are knit as one continuous tube on a circular knitting machine; cylinder sizes commonly run between roughly 96 and 200 needles. In the same pass the machine builds terry cushioning, mesh panels, ribbing, and reinforced heel and toe. A single sock takes about 3 to 6 minutes to knit, depending on height and complexity. Toe closing is seamed (rosso) or machine-linked for a flat, seamless-feeling toe. Every pair is pre-washed, boarded over foot forms with steam, then inspected by hand and paired. Annual capacity is 2.5M+ pairs. MOQ is 50 pairs per design and size; bulk production is 3-6 weeks from approved sample.

Sock knitting is carried out in the Istanbul plant on Lonati computerized sock knitting machines and double-cylinder lines added in 2023. Heights include no-show, ankle, quarter, mid-calf and tennis socks, in plain knit, half terry or full terry. Yarn selection through knitting, finishing and packaging stays in-house; annual capacity exceeds 20 million pairs.

Integrated Knitting Production

The entire production process is carried out at the factory in Çerkezköy Organized Industrial Zone, using base yarns such as cotton, cashmere, acrylic, wool, modal, viscose, soya yarn, bamboo and organic cotton. The plant runs 622 machines in 25,000 m² of indoor space; monthly capacity was raised to 6 million pairs in 2014 and increased by a further 15 percent with seamless-sock machinery. Annual output is 72 million pairs with 800 employees. Socks, panty-hose, leggings, slippers and related knit goods are made on this integrated knitting line under the ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001 and OEKO-TEX quality framework.

Sock Knitting Production

Sock knitting runs in a 3,500 m² plant on fully electronic machines: Bentley Comet, Lonati Bravo, Colosio, Irmac Tex and Sangiacomo Star 45, gauges 72–156 needles. Monthly capacity is 470,000 pairs (350,000 adult, 120,000 children’s). Operations sit on a central digital network; both small runs and large-volume orders are taken.
