Textile Dyeing, Finishing and Treatment

At its 17,500 m² covered plant in Ankara, Jalpersan runs dyehouse processes for dyeing, finishing and treatment of technical curtain fabrics. Capacity supports continuous stock and custom colour requests for professional curtain makers, with QC and careful shipping to dealers. The dyehouse is integrated with coating lines in the overall production system.

Fabric dyeing and finishing

The dyeing section uses automated dye and chemical distribution with 38 jet dyeing machines and annual capacity above 16,400 tons: 40 tons per day jet dyeing and 20 tons pad-batch. All processes from yarn to finished fabric are tracked by barcode. The in-house colour laboratory with DataColour measurement can run 700 lab dips per day. Finishing comprises 11 rams, 1 chain dryer, 2 open-width sanforisers, 1 tubular sanforiser, 1 carbon machine, 6 raising machines, 1 shearing, 1 sueding, 2 special-effect and 15 quality-control machines, equipped with course counters, pyrometer weightex, automatic weight measurement and moisture control.

Dyehouse

Our socks and/or seamless products that require processes such as dyeing, washing and testing are meticulously processed by our own laboratory and dyehouse. This department also has an ÖKO-TEX certificate. All raw materials required for product production are supplied by the company and controlled in the dyehouse and fully equipped laboratory environment within the factory.

Fabric dyeing and finishing

The dye house produces both piece-dyed and yarn-dyed fabrics and can dye all fibre types with or without lycra, delivering finished fabric on a wide finishing range. Monthly capacity is 1,250,000 m. Chemicals and dyes conform to international standards and are OEKO-TEX certified. Fully automated dyeing and chemical systems run THEN, FONG’S, ATYC, DMS and MEZERRA JIGGER machines, plus ERBATECH washing and MONFORST and BABCOCK finishing; the chemistry lab uses ODS automated pipetting. Dewdrop Printing

May 2011: with the supply of the DewDrop printing machine, another first in Turkey was achieved. Dewdrop printing is among Arteks’s 9 fields of activity. In June 2014 participation approval in the international fashion community Inditex was received. We hold OEKO TEX Appendix 6, GOTS 5.0 and GRS 4.0. Environmentally sensitive production processes are run on a sustainability basis toward a zero-emission target.

By registering in the ZDHC programme we established a Chemical Management System in line with MRSL. 20+ million metres printing capacity is offered on 6000 m2.

Knitted fabrics are coloured to customer request; requested finishes are applied with current machinery and specialist staff. After greige fabric is produced it is dyed, given the necessary finishing, tested and made ready to ship. Printing, dyeing and finishing of the mill’s knits are handled as part of delivery.
