Sand Casting ServiceProduction uses a jacketed automatic moulding machine and pouring line of 600×700 mm at 60 moulds/hour. An 18 t/h fully automatic sand plant feeds the line. Ductile and grey iron parts of 1–50 kg are poured on this line at 1,800 t/year.

Sand Casting ServiceEach Morçelik part goes through modelling, sand preparation, melting, moulding, cleaning/grinding and quality control. The 7,000 m² Konya 3rd OIZ plant pours 11,000 t/year of grey iron, ductile iron and steel. Melting is up to 10 tonnes per heat with high-rate pouring.
