Filament Winding
Molded Plastics ServiceThe process of winding fiber impregnated with resin onto a rotating mold (mandrel) in a controlled pattern, angle, and thickness. After curing on the mold, the product is removed using a mold separator machine. This method produces high-strength products; UV resistance, hardness, and fire resistance can be enhanced with resin additives. Cylindrical or conical pipes and tubes and other hollow sections can be produced. Fiberglass and carbon fibers with polyester and epoxy resins are used. The facility has a 3-axis CNC filament winding line (L=12 m, Φmax=800 mm) and a 4-axis servo creel CNC filament winding line (L=6 m, Φmax=800 mm).
