Supply of semi-finished sheet rolls to the food industry and thermoform producers from an extrusion line rated at 1,600 kg per hour. Using COEX technology, rolls are made in various or dual colours in PP, PS, ABS, PP/PE and PP/EVOH/PP structures, 300 to 1600 microns thick and 395 to 850 mm wide, for meat, deli, olive and sauce containers and barrier films.

In extrusion, the first stage of plastic packaging production, granular raw materials are melted by a screw in a barrel heated to the right temperature and blown upward into a tube with air through the die. Film width and thickness are set from a computer-controlled panel; the cooled film passes through nip rollers, is folded and wound into large rolls at the target length.
