Chemical Fertilizer Production
Construction Chemicals FormulationBAGFAS Bandırma fertilizer plants are the first and so far the only integrated fertilizer production facilities in Turkey. Sulphur and phosphate rock enter the plant and leave as various chemical fertilizers. DAP–NPK granulation and granule CAN lines are at the Erdek/Balıkesir complex. Products carry TSE certification and are REACH registered for export.

Sulfuric Acid Production
Chemicals ServiceThe BAGFAS sulphuric acid plant uses the sulphur-based double absorption contact process. Single-line capacity is 1650 tons/day and 550,000 tons/year under a Lurgi/BASF licence. Acid feeds fertilizer units and is also sold. The plant is at Bandırma–Erdek highway km 10, Erdek/Balıkesir.
