GMZ PEM Series proton exchange membrane
Fuel Cells ProductThe GMZ Enerji site publishes the PEM Series as proton exchange membranes for electrolyzers and fuel cells. PFSA-free, customizable ion-exchange membranes are described for hydrogen, energy and water systems. Published PEM figures: thickness 60/80/100 μm, ion exchange capacity (IEC) 1.10–1.50 meq/g, tensile strength 30–40 MPa, pH stability 0–14 at 25 °C. The same product block states a fluorine-free design, 42% more efficient ion exchange capacity and 20% longer operational lifetime. Membranes are stated as TRL 9 and ready for commercialization.

Fuel cell electrocatalyst
Fuel Cells ProductAccording to the TÜBİTAK MAM Hydrogen and Fuel Cell page, carbon-supported Pt and Pt-alloy electrocatalysts and Ir-based electrocatalysts are produced. On the module-components product page the electrocatalyst is defined as a usually platinum-based critical material that accelerates reactions; together with the bipolar plate and MEA it is one of the three sub-components at the heart of the PEM fuel cell. Production is at TRL 7 with 50 sets per year for R&D and prototype demand. Work areas include design, development and production of the electrocatalyst and industrial services on characterization of fuel-cell cell components.

Membrane electrode assembly (MEA)
Fuel Cells ProductAccording to the TÜBİTAK MAM Hydrogen and Fuel Cell page, gas-diffusion-layer membrane electrode assemblies can be developed 100% domestically for electrolyzer and PEM, DMFC and DSBHYP applications. On the fuel-cell module components product page the MEA is defined as the most critical, highest-value part of the cell where the electrochemical reaction takes place. Components can be produced with active areas from 5 cm² to 100 cm², supporting R&D from laboratory tests to small prototype systems. Technology readiness is TRL 7; annual capacity is 50 sets aimed at R&D and prototype demand. Uses: PEM fuel-cell development at academic institutions and R&D centres; prototype modules and stacks for portable power, UAV/land vehicles and APUs.

Fuel cell bipolar plate
Fuel Cells ProductAccording to the TÜBİTAK MAM-HYPTAG page, graphite and metal-based bipolar plates with or without flow channels are produced entirely domestically for various fuel-cell applications; titanium bipolar plates and expanded mesh are produced for electrolyzers. On the module-components product page the bipolar plate is defined as the part that distributes fuel (hydrogen) and oxidant (air) in the cell and collects electrons. Components are for low-temperature PEM fuel cells, 5–100 cm² active area, TRL 7, 50 sets per year for R&D and prototype production. Work areas include design, development and production of flow-channel bipolar/end plates.

PEM electrolyzer and MEA test-cell hardware
Fuel Cells ProductThe ERDES product page publishes PEM Electrolyzer Hardware (SKU ETC100-005) as research-purpose electrolyzer hardware. The text states it provides reliable hardware for developing different materials for flow-field, different catalysts, membranes, membrane electrode assemblies and current distributors. Active area is selectable. In the Fuel Cells category the same hardware family also lists a PEM Fuel Cell Test Cell (PEMSC-05, selectable active area); both items are for laboratory-scale cell and MEA development.
