Our parent company, Mat Star, was first established in Bulgaria in 1971, initially focusing on wholesale shoes. Over the years, they expanded their operations to cover all cities within Bulgaria and later established a wholesale distribution network spanning Eastern Europe. Alongside that, they began retail operations under the name MAT STAR, with 63 stores now located in Bulgaria, Macedonia, Romania, Greece, Hungary, Serbia, Kosovo, Syria, and Iraq.

In 2013, MAT STAR entered the Turkish market, acquiring a 50% stake in TIGERLINE factory, and in 2018, they fully took over the company to join other brands under the MAT STAR umbrella, whilst enlarging their own by embodying brands like Dr.Klompa and Dr.Mez, expanding their production capacity to 50,000 pairs of shoes per month, including PVC and polyurethane injection and Monta slippers.

Tigerline exports its products to various European countries such as Spain, Italy, Germany, Romania, Croatia, as well as to North African and Middle Eastern countries like Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Libya, Tunisia, Palestine, Algeria, and beyond. Additionally, as of 2021, our products are also available in the Turkish domestic market with a wholesale store in Gedikpaşa / Beyazit, expanding its influence and catering to various domestic brands like LC Waikiki, Flo, Muya, Bambi, Twigy, while also engaging in special production. Trefir took a major step forward in 2024, launching our own footwear e-commerce platform for both retail and wholesale customers.
