Temka Glass has processed architectural glass since 1991. It became a Şişecam Flat Glass authorized dealer in 2008 and authorized producer in 2010. The Kartepe D-100 plant does jumbo cutting, tempering and IGU; a second plant is in Dilovası OSB.

Our company is one of the leading manufacturers of architectural glass processing in Turkey. It has been operating in the glass sector since 1991. Temka Glass expanded its sales network with an active sales policy and in 2008 it became the authorized dealer of Şişecam Flat Glass. Temka Cam continued to develop itself by following the developments and innovations in the construction sector, where architectural glass (exterior and interior) is used extensively, and by becoming the authorized manufacturer of Şişecam Flat Glass in 2010.

Float Glass
The factory page lists clear Şişecam float 2–19 mm, extra clear 4–12 mm and crystal clear 6–12 mm. Standard size is 2.25 × 3.21 m; jumbo is 3.21 × 6.0 m. The float-glass page describes the 1100 °C molten-tin bath, parallel error-free faces, cooling and cut-to-size packing. Tinted, coated (pyrolytic/monolithic), ceramic-fritted and thermal-control Low-E types are listed in the same stock range.
Low-E / Solar Low-E Glass
The Low-E page describes Solar Low-E as a climate-control IGU with a heat-control coating on surface 2, a colourless interior appearance and a faint blue glare from certain exterior angles. IGU units made with Şişecam solar-control Low-E are stated to cut window heat loss by 77% versus single glass and 50% versus a standard double-glazing unit. Winter climates use Low-E on surface 3; temperate climates on surface 2. Factory stock lists high/medium-performance Low-E at 6–12 mm.
Tempered Glass
The factory page describes tempering as processing for tensile strength, safety and impact resistance. The Kartepe line is 2,500 m²/day flat tempering plus 300 m²/day curved tempering (2.85 × 2.50 m, min. radius 1,000 mm). Dilovası OSB performance reports document thermally tempered soda-lime silicate safety glass to TS EN 12150 in 4–10 mm. The Dilovası plant also lists tempering, grinding and CNC. Curved temper size is 2.85 × 2.50 m with a 1,000 mm minimum radius.

Glass Tempering
The Kartepe D-100 plant publishes 2,500 m²/day flat tempering and 300 m²/day curved tempering. Curved size is 2.85 × 2.50 m with a 1,000 mm minimum radius. The second plant in Dilovası OSB also lists tempering; TS EN 12150 performance reports document thermally tempered safety glass from 4–10 mm. Tempered glass is processed for tensile strength, safety and impact resistance.
Insulating Glass Production
The Kartepe plant publishes 1,200 m²/day insulating-glass capacity. The double-glazing page defines an IGU as two glass sheets separated by an air or argon cavity; the edge seal must not stay wet, so frames must allow free water drainage. IGU units with Şişecam Low-E are stated to cut heat loss by 77% versus single glass. The Dilovası OSB plant also lists a double-glazing line; LiSEC IGU equipment appears in production photos.
Jumbo Glass Cutting
The Kartepe plant on the D-100 publishes 5,000 m²/day jumbo glass cutting. Size range is 2.25 × 3.21 m standard and 3.21 × 6.0 m jumbo. The factory page states cold cutting on CNC machines for accuracy and cut-outs by bench techniques. The Dilovası OSB plant also lists a CNC machine.
