Ground-Mounted PV Mounting Systems
Ground-mounted solar plants require structures designed for the site’s soil class, soil chemistry, wind, seismic and snow loads, and corrosion risk. Stark manufactures the structural elements accordingly, calculating each system for local wind, snow and seismic requirements. Structures are specified with C4-certified corrosion protection and accommodate both portrait and landscape PV module layouts.
Flat-Roof PV Mounting Systems
Rooftop PV installations demand structural precision and controlled load management. Stark flat-roof systems are engineered to minimize penetration, protect roof membranes, and optimize ballast distribution under high wind and snow conditions. Each system is custom-designed according to roof type, load capacity and local climate, with a corrosion warranty of up to 25 years, using aluminium and coated-steel components for waterproofing-focused commercial roofs.
Solar Carport Systems
Solar carport systems for airports, shopping centres, hospitals and similar sites are project-specific steel structures with high strength and corrosion resistance. The single-vehicle system holds 6 modules (about 3.5–4 kWp); the double-vehicle system holds 10 modules (about 6–6.5 kWp), in zinc-magnesium-aluminium coated steel. The modular layout scales from one bay to large parking areas and is compatible with EV charging infrastructure.

Solar Installation Engineering
Soil, terrain, wind, snow and seismic loads are assessed for each project; the support structure is designed from site data. Design follows Eurocodes and relevant National Annexes. For ground-mount work, pile embedment is set from the highest unit forces, profile geometry and soil; test piles are driven at several points and pull-out values are compared with the static report.
Structure Installation
All structure installation is carried out by the specialist team. Solar carport systems are installed on site with minimal labour and a short assembly window. For rooftop work, the existing roof is surveyed and critical values recorded, then the module tilt and layout are set after wind and snow calculations so the design matches the building’s static capacity.
Custom Steel Fabrication
Stark manufactures structural members sized for the plant’s soil class, soil chemistry, wind, seismic and snow loads, and required corrosion resistance. Zinc-magnesium-aluminium alloy coated steel provides long-term protection in coastal, humid and aggressive environments; the coating self-heals at cut or repaired edges. Rooftop work uses aluminium together with coated-steel products.
