PVC and PU Belts
PVC and PU (polyurethane) belts are used in industrial plants and storage areas. PVC belts are chosen for mechanical load, chemical and heat resistance at lower cost; PU belts are preferred for high flexibility and tensile strength in transport and packaging. Both types are available in various sizes, thicknesses, colours and patterns and can be specified for a given application.
PTFE Teflon Belt
Teflon belt is coated with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), which increases surface resistance to temperature, oil, water and other substances. It is used on high-temperature electrical equipment and industrial machines, is waterproof and chemically resistant. It is made in various colours and sizes and can be cut and bonded to the required length.

Teflon fabric is coated with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), which improves resistance to heat, oil, water and other substances. It is easy to clean because it resists oil and water and can be washed in a washing machine. Conveyor Belt Maintenance and Repair

Conveyor Belt Splicing
The splice is the weakest point of a conveyor belt. Three methods are used: hot vulcanising, cold splicing and mechanical clips. Vulcanising is preferred on food and heavy-load lines for a flat, strong joint; cold splice is used where a press cannot be taken to site; mechanical clips finish in minutes for emergency repair. The choice depends on hygiene, downtime, load and site conditions.
Conveyor Belt Measurement
Conveyor belts are cut and joined to the line, so a wrong size cannot be returned. Huzur Bant specifies collecting belt width, length (splice-to-splice or centre-distance formula), pulley diameters, thickness and ply count, splice type, surface/profile/guide and operating conditions in millimetres. If measurements are uncertain, line photos and existing figures can be sent so missing items are completed together.
