Container Glass Furnaces
In container glass furnace projects, furnace erection, refractory installation and dismantling, technological steel applications, insulation and sealing works are executed in accordance with the project design under meticulous quality control, followed by furnace ignition, thermal process management and first glass production. References include JSC Mina Furnace C (Georgia, 150 TPD), Şişecam Anadolu Cam Furnace B (450 TPD) and Turkmen Glass Furnace B (120 TPD).
Float Glass Furnaces
GTR specializes in the erection, heat-up, and maintenance of float glass furnaces, which are critical for high-capacity production targets. Projects covering technological steel fabrication, refractory erection, furnace heat-up and hot and cold repair include Şişecam Tarsus TR9 (1200 TPD), Şişecam Trakya Cam Polatlı TR8 (750 TPD), Düzce Cam Furnace 2 (800 TPD) and the Turkmenistan float glass factory (250 TPD).
Technological Furnace Steel
Structural steel components forming the load-bearing framework of industrial furnaces are engineered and manufactured in GTR's facilities to each furnace project's technical requirements. These steels require precise dimensional tolerances and chemical composition; quality inspections and conformity checks against the furnace design are applied during manufacturing. Since 2012 GTR has supplied steel for a 600 TPD float furnace in Dagestan, Nampak Glass in South Africa, Vetropack in Brazil and Frigo Glass in Nigeria.

Industrial Furnace Consultancy
GTR provides consultancy for industrial furnace investments throughout project design, planning and decision-making. From new investments to performance improvement of existing furnaces, it supports strategic analysis, needs assessment, project risk management, maintenance planning and performance auditing. Services cover turn-key project management, furnace inspection and audit, and performance audit and maintenance management.
Furnace Assembly & Disassembly
GTR carries out new furnace installations worldwide as well as steel and refractory dismantling and reconstruction of end-of-life furnaces. The scope covers steel/refractory dismantling, steel/refractory construction, technological steel fabrication, heat-up preparation and heat-up services, and refractory separation and recycling. Hot repairs performed during operation extend furnace service life.
Furnace Repair & Maintenance
GTR carries out hot and cold repair, revamping and maintenance of glass furnaces in compliance with international occupational safety standards. Applications include glass draining, cooling, regenerator cleaning, ceramic welding, overcoating, hot bottom repair, insulation and hot sealing, forehearth replacement, crown repair, and steel revision and reinforcement.
