Founded by Kasım Aktaş in 2005 to meet the flat glass and architectural glass needs of our country, Düzce Float Glass has become one of the world's leading glass manufacturers in the glass industry. Since its establishment, Düzce Float Glass has been sustainably maintaining its rapid growth power with its innovative management approach blended with years of experience and continuous investments.
The secret of the company's success is the application of the latest trends and production technologies and innovations in its production lines with its dynamic management team. Our goal is to detect and invest in sustainable new generation initiatives in glass production early. In addition, our expanding and maturing corporate memory, which includes the decisions taken in the history of our company and the results they bring, is an important value of ours. Düzce Float Glass, with its factory established on an area of 468,000 m2 in Düzce with integrated production facilities and over 500 employees, sells 21 product types including flat glass, colored glass, coated glass, laminated glass and mirror products to more than 25 countries.

Acoustic Prolam
Acoustic laminated glass is produced to provide sound insulation in areas with high sound and noise. The acoustic PVB interlayer with sound insulation feature used between the glass plates absorbs the high-frequency sound waves coming from the outside and acts as a noise barrier. In this way, a quiet environment is created and the quality of life is increased. Combinations include 4+0.38+4 mm (Rw 34 dB), 4+0.76+4 mm (Rw 35 dB) and 6+0.76+6 mm (Rw 37 dB); EN 12600 pendulum class 1(B)1.
Climatic Summer-Winter Four Seasons
Compared to standard double glazing, it reduces the heat input by 40%, thus reducing air conditioning costs. Visible sunlight transmittance is not compromised while providing solar control of residences and workplaces. In the summer months, the front of the window is prevented from being hot, thus keeping the environment cool. Klimatik® Summer/Winter Series products are 59/40 single silver temperable (Solar Low E), 51/33 single silver temperable (Solar Low E), 70/43 double silver (Solar Low E), 70/35 double silver temperable (Solar Low E) and 51/28 double silver temperable (Solar Low E) coated glasses. Example IGU: 6 mm Climatic Four Seasons 59/40 T + 16 mm Ar + 6 mm Düzce Cam Clear (EN 410 / EN 673).
Clear Float Glass
Colorless (clear) float glass produced with float technology maximizes the visual connection between indoor and outdoor with its high light transmittance, keeps human beings in touch with nature, and enables people to benefit from natural light without blocking the light, which is one of our greatest needs. Colorless (clear) float glass can be used directly, or it can be used by secondary processes by turning it into laminated glass, tempered glass, coated glass, mirror, painted glass, satin glass and insulating glass. The technical table lists 90% light transmittance and U-value 5.8 W/m²K at 3 mm, and 87% light transmittance and U-value 5.6 W/m²K at 10 mm. Sheet width is 3210 mm.
Services
R&D and Laboratory
The development of the processes of newly designed products and the adaptation of innovations in this field to the environment are carried out by the R&D Center. For all manufactured products, competitor comparison studies, literature and patent research, process analysis and verification tests are carried out. The raw materials used in glass production and the properties of glass are verified for compliance with glass production standards with X-Ray Diffractometer (XRD), X-Ray Fluorescence Spectrometer (XRF) and Spectrophotometer devices in the R&D laboratory. As a result of product-based performance improvement requests from customers and end users, necessary improvements in product quality and processes are planned and carried out by Düzce Float Glass R&D Laboratory.
Float Glass Production
Düzce Float Glass was established in 2005, however, it applies its experience of over 30 years in the field of glass processing and logistics to float glass production. Having put into service its two float glass lines in 2010 and 2016, Düzce Float Glass has rapidly qualified to the top among the glass producers in Europe. Having laminate and mirror lines in addition to the float glass, Düzce Float Glass is about to complete its investment of magnetron coating line in order to address the widest range of products available in the glass industry. The homepage slider states an annual production capacity of 550,000 tons and 25% of Turkey’s glass needs. Thickness is stated as 3 to 12 mm in the main homepage copy.
Quality Management and TSE Conformity
Düzce Float Glass has adopted the principle of fully meeting the needs and expectations of its customers and being in cooperation with customers based on trust. First awarded the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System certificate by the Turkish Standards Institute in 2011, it moved to the ISO 9001:2015 revision in June 2017. It holds TSE Conformity Certificates within the scope of EN 572-2 for flat glass, EN 12543-2 for laminated safety glass and EN 1036-1 for mirror products, and carries out manufacturing from raw material to final product within these standards.
