We design and develop sophisticated fabrics that combine comfort and style by following rising trends. Collections are presented as two seasonal collections and six capsule collections each year. Excellent fabric quality and a wide range of materials help global brands create fashionable garments. Lines include Proloom, Premiumline, jacquard, Fine Basic Line, underwear and printed knits, offered in different weights, prints, colours and textures. Activewear performance fabrics

Performance fabrics are engineered with technical properties developed by the in-house R&D centre and are used by activewear brands worldwide. The performance line offers advanced moisture management, air permeability, durable dynamic knits, long-lasting functionality and odour control. The comfort range is designed for yoga and travel garments with four-way stretch, light weight, high breathability and shape retention. Outdoor knits use thermal insulation channels for warmth in cold weather and a cool, dry feel in heat; the innovative collection includes Cordura, Coolmax Ecomade, Nilit Breeze and wool blends.

Viscose striped single jersey is an Özgül Örme catalogue quality. Quality reference Ozgul; width 170 cm, 150 g/m², 100% viscose, white-grey. The About page states that viscose yarns are used as feedstock for natural, high-quality fabrics. The mill knits about 300,000 metres a month and has produced fine-gauge fabrics since 2009.

Woven Ready-to-Wear Fabric

FIRATEKS collections include cotton, viscose, acrylic, polyester, linen and wool blend ready-to-wear woven fabrics. Yarns selected to international standards are woven from 100 g/m² to 500 g/m² to customer demand. Annual woven capacity is 3 million metres.

Circular knitting production

The knitting department is equipped with the latest technology for production versatility, fast reaction and competitive lead times. 235 modern knitting machines, partly powered by on-site solar panels, provide a fabric production capacity of 40 tons per day and 15,000 tons per year. On the knitting floor, IoT monitoring and AI-supported image processing catch fabric faults during production. Flexible production can be delivered in 2–3 weeks according to customer needs.

Fabric dyeing and finishing

The dyeing section uses automated dye and chemical distribution with 38 jet dyeing machines and annual capacity above 16,400 tons: 40 tons per day jet dyeing and 20 tons pad-batch. All processes from yarn to finished fabric are tracked by barcode. The in-house colour laboratory with DataColour measurement can run 700 lab dips per day. Finishing comprises 11 rams, 1 chain dryer, 2 open-width sanforisers, 1 tubular sanforiser, 1 carbon machine, 6 raising machines, 1 shearing, 1 sueding, 2 special-effect and 15 quality-control machines, equipped with course counters, pyrometer weightex, automatic weight measurement and moisture control.

Fabric development and digital printing

A design team of over 30 specialists collaborates with professional fashion designers to produce fabrics that match customer needs and bespoke developments. Around 250 new fabric designs are created each month for fashion, with new qualities presented every three weeks. The in-house digital fabric library registers fabrics with full specifications and performance history. Digital printing capacity is 10,000 metres per day: reactive print on cotton, viscose and blends, and acid print on nylon, including polyamide qualities for swimwear and activewear.

Fabric development and production

Besides statement designs, a wide range of fabric qualities is developed to expand material and design options for clients. In the design process, fabrics, accessories, print, embroidery, washing and dyeing methods are modelled into finished garments. Subsidiary Ekoten Fabrics has manufactured circular knit fabrics since 2000 for clothing, technical textiles, medical wear and sportswear. Sun Tekstil is vertically integrated with its own jersey fabric mill.

Bulk Sock Manufacturing

High-volume wholesale sock production for large retail networks and distributors. Computerized Lonati lines run 24/7 in the 7,500 m² Istanbul plant; real-time thread sensors stop machines on needle or yarn breaks. High-temperature metal boarding locks uniform sizing; barcoded cartons, packing ratios and Turkish export customs support road freight to Europe plus ocean and urgent air shipments.

Jacquard and dobby weaving

In Özel Tekstil’s weaving department, customer requests are met with jacquard and dobby looms and warp / sample-warp machines suited to every repeat. Together with rapier and air-jet looms and contracted partners, monthly capacity reaches 1,250,000 metres. Yarns from 3.5 Nm to 20 denier are used — cotton, viscose, Tencel, modal, nylon, polyester, chenille, fancy and blends, sustainable and conventional — for shirt, blouse, jacket and trouser fabrics from 50 to 400 g/m². Fabric dyeing and finishing

The dye house produces both piece-dyed and yarn-dyed fabrics and can dye all fibre types with or without lycra, delivering finished fabric on a wide finishing range. Monthly capacity is 1,250,000 m. Chemicals and dyes conform to international standards and are OEKO-TEX certified. Fully automated dyeing and chemical systems run THEN, FONG’S, ATYC, DMS and MEZERRA JIGGER machines, plus ERBATECH washing and MONFORST and BABCOCK finishing; the chemistry lab uses ODS automated pipetting. Özel Tekstil

R&D and product development

Özel Tekstil runs product development (PD) and R&D as complementary separate units. R&D develops two main season collections and six interim capsule collections each year; designers follow trends while engineers follow new technologies and raw materials. PD prepares CAD for customer development requests and yarn colour studies when asked; if CAD is not enough, a hand template is woven in the requested colours and yarns. Laboratory and R&D

The chemistry lab tests dyes, chemicals and finishes to international standards; colour fastness, wash resistance and pH are controlled. The physics lab analyses strength, elasticity, abrasion and dimensional stability. R&D focuses on custom fabric development, performance finishes, new yarns, functional textiles and environmentally friendly methods. Integrated production controls every stage from incoming yarn to finished fabric.

Dyehouse

The dyehouse uses latest machines and environmentally friendly chemicals for dyeing. A wide colour range, custom shades and laboratory analysis match tone on each fabric. Water and energy saving are emphasised; colour fastness, even distribution and a soft hand are published. GOTS, OCS, GRS, RCS and BCI certificates support sustainable dyeing and finishing.

Knitting

The knitting department is described as a cornerstone of production. Latest knitting machines and a specialist team offer a wide fabric range in different yarns and knit techniques. Pattern, texture and weight are produced to customer request; capacity is published as 8,000 t/year in 35,000 m². Three-thread fleece, terry, interlock, jersey, piqué, rib and ottoman are knitted in the same integrated plant.
