Steel hollow sections are offered in grades S235JRH, S275J0H, S275J2H, S275MH, S355J0H, S355J2H and S355K2H to EN 10219-1, TS EN 10219-2 and ASTM A-500. Outside sizes range 10×15–600×400 mm, lengths 0.70–20 m and wall thickness 3–12 mm. Square or rectangular sections serve as columns, beams, frames and roof systems, and in automotive, machinery, furniture and metalworking. Galvanizing, paint or epoxy coatings can protect against corrosion.

Roof Walkway

The roof walkway is designed to provide safe access on roof surfaces; its special pattern prevents slipping and it is mounted to standing-seam sheet ribs with a dedicated fixture. It is designed for all weather conditions and corrosion resistance. It is manufactured in lengths of 100–3000 mm and heights of 50–150 mm in stainless steel (SS304), hot-dip galvanized steel (S235JR) and pregalvanized steel (DX51D+Z). Typical use is sandwich panel and trapezoidal sheet roofing.

Z profiles are structural members commonly used as purlin/girt sections in construction. Magafi cuts them to requested lengths on roll-form lines; punching can be done during production. They are made from black or galvanized sheet, with EN 1461 hot-dip galvanizing or Magnelis coating options. Size range is H 70-400 mm, B 40-120 mm, C 12-40 mm, thickness 1-5 mm, strip width 130-600 mm. Cold-rolled coil is dispatched as strip or sheet after cut-to-length and slitting. It is used in sheet-metal work, white goods and thin-gauge fabrication.

Galvanized sheet is used where corrosion resistance is needed in roofing, ducting and light construction. Supply is from stock lists or project lots.

Slit strip from the steel service centre feeds the pipe-profile and wire-spring lines. Galvanized tube and square profiles run to TS EN 10219 / TS EN 10305-5; slitting supplies the matching width and thickness. Dispatch uses the same strapped, rust-resistant packing practice as other Boyçelik coils.

Boyçelik’s Steel Service Centre cut-to-length sheets sit alongside the pipe-profile mill. About states pipe-profile capacity was raised to 120,000 t/year in 2015; sheet feeds furniture, automotive, appliances and construction. Lengths follow the customer order and are traced from incoming coil to finished piece in SAP ERP.
