Pipe Prefabrication and Spool Fabrication

Pipe prefabrication and spool fabrication are carried out in a 5,000 m² covered hall dedicated to piping at İzmit Area B. Field applications include TPAO Sakarya Gas Field spool fabrication and erection, TÜPRAŞ tank–jetty pipelines and SASA PTA plant piping. Prefabrication is planned and reported to shorten on-site erection time.

Standard Pre-Insulated Steel Pipes

Pre-insulated steel pipes are manufactured to cut heat loss on geothermal and district-heating lines. They offer faster installation, lower repair cost, minimum downtime and long service life. Production follows EN 253. The Standard Pre-Insulated Steel Pipes product is supplied in this scope from the plant. The 23,000 m² Polatlı OSB plant follows EN 253, EN 448, EN 15632 and EN 12201-2; production started in İvedik in 1997 and has been in Polatlı since 2000.

Piping Spool Manufacturing

Custom piping spools and skid systems for power, oil and gas, petrochemical and chemical industries, shop pre-fabricated to reduce field welding and site costs. ADESS manufactures piping spools according to customer drawings, piping specifications and applicable international standards. Capabilities include process and equipment skids, flanged and welded assemblies, welding and NDT, hydrostatic testing, surface treatment and painting, ASME B31.1 / B31.3, automated and manual welding (GTAW/SMAW), isometric and spool drawings, and pickling and passivation. The verification cycle covers fit-up and dimensional control, weld NDT (RT/UT), PMI and pressure testing. Materials include carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel and duplex and super duplex.

Eddy-current NDT and hydrostatic testing

The certificates page lists NDT (eddy-current) and hydrostatic leak testing. Installation and fire pipes are all NDT-tested. Gas pipes are 100% hydrostatic and eddy-current tested. Boiler pipes also receive 100% hydrostatic and NDT testing.

Hot-dip galvanizing

Installation, fire and pressure-pipe pages list hot-dip galvanizing (TS 11348 EN 10240) as a surface option. Industrial tubes can be galvanized from 2.00 mm wall and 17 mm OD. Hollow sections from 2.00 mm wall and 30×30 mm use the same method. Galvanizing inspection is listed among quality tests.

Polyethylene coating

Installation and gas-pipe pages list PE-coated surface (DIN 30670). PE coating is offered with black-painted or oiled alternatives for corrosion-protected line pipe. Polyethylene coating tests appear in the quality-system test list. Coating is applied according to line-pipe demand in export markets.

Standard and industrial pre-insulated geothermal pipes are manufactured at the 23,000 m² Polatlı OSB plant to EN 253 / EN 448 / EN 15632 / EN 12201-2.
