Betopan® Cement-Bonded Particle Board

Betopan® is a functional cement-bonded particle board that combines cement and wood, with a flat natural grey surface usable from foundation to roof. Standard thicknesses are 8–30 mm; sizes 1250×2500, 1250×2800 and 1250×3000 mm. Density 1300±50 kg/m³, bending strength ≥9 N/mm², reaction to fire B-s1,d0 (EN 13501-1). Typical uses include prefabricated and steel buildings, interior/exterior walls, floors, wet-area tile backing and roof underlayment; asbestos-free, does not rot or mould.

tepePAN® Fiber Cement Board

tepePAN® is a multi-purpose flat fiber cement building board made from cement and fiber, offered with decorative stone, wood, brick and embossed textures. Thicknesses 6–20 mm, width 1250 mm, lengths 2500/2800/3000 mm (2500 mm for 18–20 mm). Density 1150±75 kg/m³, reaction to fire A1 (EN 13501-1), durability Category A Class 2. Applied by mechanical fixing in ventilated rainscreen facades; used on interior walls, floors, wet areas and exteriors. For non-prefab exterior use, minimum 10 mm thickness is required.

tepePAN Pro® Pressed Fiber Cement Board

tepePAN Pro® is a pressed, high-performance flat fiber cement board for exterior cladding and interior use, offered in a 10–16 mm thickness range. Natural raw materials give a cream tone; Flat and Line sanded finishes are available, and paint or coatings can create decorative surfaces. It is mechanically fixed in ventilated rainscreen facades and used on interior/exterior walls, floors and wet areas in residential, public, industrial and prefabricated buildings.

Asphaltic Concrete

Quarried rock is relieved of dirt on a by-pass screen, crushed and classified in jaw, impact and hammer crushers, then stored as asphaltic concrete aggregate. Aggregate is dried in the batch-type asphalt plant dryer at up to 160 °C, rescreened into hot bins, weighed to the job-mix formula and mixed with bitumen. The mixture is the hot asphaltic concrete used for paving.

The mixture is prepared in a batch-type plant at 160 °C from 0-5 mm aggregate suitable for asphaltic concrete wearing course with about 6-7 percent 50-70 penetration bitumen, depending on filler. Laying is at least 4 cm by electronically sensored paver or vibratory screed. After initial compaction with a 1.5-3.0 ton tandem roller, steel templates (brick, cobblestone, herringbone) are pressed in; when the surface cools, ACRYL-LATEX epoxy-modified StreetBond coating is applied in one or two coats. Used on pedestrian ways, sidewalks, parks and other decorative areas.

Cold Packaged Asphalt

Used for local repairs in cold climates where hot-mix asphalt is scarce. Aggregate is mixed with bitumen and chemicals in the batch plant and sacked; each sack weighs 25 kg. The mix stays soft at low temperatures, can be applied on wet surfaces and needs no prior coating. Shelf-life is 6 months; do not stack more than 10 sacks. The pothole should be 4-5 cm deep with perpendicular cleaned edges; the mix is poured with a slight bump and compacted with a mini roller or plate compactor.

Isıcam S Series is produced with Şişecam Low-E glasses and reduces fuel costs through heat insulation. Versus ordinary double glazing it cuts heat loss by 50%, uses solar heat without sacrificing light transmittance, keeps the window zone from feeling cold in winter and delays condensation. Payback versus ordinary IGU is stated as 1–2 years from winter fuel savings.

Tempered Glass

Tempered glass is produced by a special heat treatment. It is about five times stronger than ordinary glass; the balance of tension and compression increases impact resistance. When it breaks it separates into smaller, less hazardous pieces. Thermal-shock resistance is high. Typical uses: shower enclosures, worktops, shopfronts and façades. The plant has a tempering furnace.

Isıcam K Series Solar Low-E is produced with Şişecam Solar Low-E glasses. It provides heat insulation and solar control, cutting winter fuel and summer cooling costs. It helps stop the window zone being cold in winter and hot in summer. Payback versus ordinary IGU is stated as 1–2 years.

Tempered Glass

During tempering, glass is heated to approximately 600–700 °C and rapidly cooled. This creates compressive stress on the surface and increases its resistance to mechanical loads and thermal shock. When broken, fully tempered glass fragments into relatively small pieces rather than large sharp shards. All cutting, drilling and edge processing must therefore be completed before tempering. Approx. five times higher strength than comparable annealed glass; TS EN 12150. Suitable for façades, railings, shower enclosures and furniture.
