Galvanizing & Powder Coating

Hot-dip galvanizing coats iron or steel by immersion in molten zinc. Dost Galvaniz's process covers material intake, racking, degreasing, hydrochloric acid cleaning, rinsing, flux (zinc chloride and ammonium chloride), drying, a 440–460 °C zinc bath (at least 98% zinc), cooling, passivation, unracking and final testing. The coating forms zinc–iron alloy layers. The plant measures 7m x 1.6m x 3.6m in Ankara ASO2 OIZ; coating certificates can be issued under EN ISO 1461 and customer request.

Galvanizing jobs are planned from material, size, service environment, surface condition and post-coat expectations. Oil, dirt and oxides are removed before dipping. Avrasya Galvaniz hot-dip galvanizes structural steel, agricultural equipment, power-line parts and street furniture to project data. The kettle is 13 m × 1.9 m × 3.5 m with 160,000 t/year capacity. Orders need part data, dimensions, geometry, surface state and quantity; coating thickness and appearance are checked before dispatch.

Hot-dip galvanizing lines apply zinc coating, and panel/fence products can receive electrostatic powder coating. During panel fence production the substrate is treated around 433 °C to form the zinc phase layer; PVC or powder coat finishes are optional. Double panel fence can also be specified as hot-dip galvanized or PVC-coated. The three-line plant runs continuous production at 8,000 tons monthly galvanizing capacity.

Hot-Dip Galvanized Wire Production

Galvanizing & Powder Coating

Production continues on three lines at the new plant. The facility has three fully automatic galvanizing lines with 30 wires per line and 8,000 tons monthly capacity. Lines can produce commercially coated and coated wires from 0.80 mm to 8.00 mm. Hot-dip galvanized wire, armour wire and copper-coated wire were added after annealed wire, with the galvanizing process run in-house.
