Per our R&D page, Diniz Adient is among Turkey’s major vehicle seat makers and was certified as an R&D center in 2013 by the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology. The center develops and improves new and existing seats and components, advances production methods and tooling, and runs safety and quality tests. It collaborates with universities, institutes and other bodies; engineering/R&D and the test center perform quality and safety testing on seats and components.

Starting with the Product Development Department in 1961, Ford Otosan’s R&D has the know-how, capability and infrastructure to design, develop and test a complete vehicle including the engine until it becomes a commercial product. As the largest R&D organization in the Turkish automotive industry, it exports engineering with about 2,300 R&D employees. It is a support center for design and engineering of Ford light commercial vehicles and the global engineering center for heavy commercials and their diesel engines and engine systems. Projects span engine technologies, vehicle light-weighting, electrification, battery and hydrogen technologies.
