Hot-rolled (HR) sheets are produced by rolling at high temperature and are offered in grades such as S235JR, S275JR, S355JR and related qualities (S235J2, S275J0, S355J2(+N), etc.). Typical uses include construction and earthmoving machinery, general structural plate, road and rail vehicles, storage tanks, containers, pressure vessels and boilers, LPG equipment, and ship interiors and keels. They combine strength, formability and weldability for structural and industrial projects.
