Power transformers are designed and manufactured to customer requirements and national/international standards (IEC, IEEE, etc.) for voltages of 72.5 kV and above and ratings of 5 MVA and higher. ASTOR has capacity up to 800 kV and 1000 MVA; R&D work includes 400 kV / 250 MVA autotransformers. Windings use copper conductors (paper-covered flat wire and CTC); cooling options include ONAN/ONAF, OFAF and ODAF.

In dry-type distribution transformers, HV windings are vacuum-cast in epoxy resin; LV windings may use cast resin or prepreg. Astor Enerji produces dry-type units from 25 kVA to 25,000 kVA up to 36 kV with AN or AF cooling; fans allow up to 40% power increase. Ranges follow MLZ, IEC and EN 50588-1 (EU548_2014) voltage series.
