Gantry cranes are used for lifting and handling loads by moving along rails mounted on the ground.
The feature that distinguishes gantry cranes from overhead cranes is that the bridge girder is attached to legs and moves on wheels. Gantry cranes are frequently preferred in manufacturing areas such as iron and container yards, steel structures, and prefabricated buildings.
Gantry cranes are classified into three types: Single Portfolio Gantry Cranes, Double Portfolio Gantry Cranes, and Lame Gantry Cranes.
