Tempered glasses are glass models that eliminate the ‘blind accident’ risk factor thanks to their ability to break into blunt pieces when they are hit in the event of an accident or crash. In this glass model, which takes its final form after the heating – shock cooling processes, the tension is spread homogeneously and horizontally with different systems. The glass is resistant to thermal stress. Cutting, drilling, edge processing or superficial operations cannot be performed. The color or brightness of the glass do not change after the thermal treatment. Typical uses include glass balcony units, handrails, glass doors, shower cabins, refrigerator and oven glass, furniture and façade windows.
