About
Serpa Hassas Döküm Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi was founded in 1992 in Küçükyalı, Istanbul by industrial engineer Zafer Yılmaz. In 2000 it moved to Istanbul Organized Leather Industrial Zone, manufacturing on a total of 4,000 m² including 2,400 m² indoors.
With its machine park, specialist staff and process technology, Serpa manufactures investment-cast parts in steel, stainless steel, copper alloys, aluminium alloys and nickel- and cobalt-based superalloys.
In-house processes include mould design and manufacture, atmospheric and vacuum casting, and machining; the quality systems meet ISO 9001 and AS9100 requirements.
In 2004 Serpa invested in a vacuum induction furnace, taking a major step in vacuum investment casting in Turkey, and supplies products to the world market.

Aluminium and Copper-Alloy Investment Castings
Serpa produces investment-cast parts in aluminium alloys and copper alloys. Nickel- and cobalt-based superalloys are cast in the same plant. Mould design, atmospheric and vacuum casting and machining are carried out in-house.
Steel Investment Castings
Serpa manufactures steel investment-cast parts by the lost-wax process. In-house work covers mould design and manufacture, atmospheric casting and machining. Quality systems meet ISO 9001 and AS9100; parts are supplied to the world market.
Stainless Steel Investment Castings
Serpa manufactures investment-cast parts in stainless steel. The 2004 vacuum induction furnace investment enabled vacuum investment casting. Moulding, casting and machining are carried out at the 4,000 m² Tuzla Leather OIZ plant (2,400 m² indoor).

Machining is carried out in-house so investment-cast parts can be delivered finished. Quality systems meet ISO 9001 and AS9100. Atmospheric and vacuum castings are machined at the same 4,000 m² plant.
Mould Design and Manufacture
Mould design and manufacture are carried out in-house. Investment-casting patterns and moulds are prepared for the lost-wax process in steel, stainless, copper, aluminium and superalloys. Moulding, casting and machining share the Tuzla Leather OIZ plant.
Vacuum Investment Casting
Serpa’s 2004 vacuum induction furnace investment was a major step for vacuum investment casting in Turkey. Vacuum casting is used for nickel- and cobalt-based superalloys and for steel and stainless parts that require that process. Work is run under ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality systems.
