Puntaş has made induction hardening, grinding, plate heat exchangers and rubber gaskets since 1978, exporting under ExperPHE.
About
The company started in Demirkapı, Istanbul in 1978 in induction and grinding, and continues with growing infrastructure, trained staff and a customer-satisfaction focus.
With a fine-workmanship policy it supplies several industries. After moving to its 2,000 m² plant in Beylikdüzü Organized Industrial Zone it also began in-house production of stainless-steel fittings and heat exchangers.
Founded with domestic capital, it represents itself at international fairs each year and follows technology and demand.
It manufactures to international quality standards and sells not only on the domestic market: about 70% of annual output is produced for customers in Europe and the Americas.

Rubber Gasket
Rubber gaskets are used in machinery, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and heating-cooling lines where sound, fluid or vibration isolation is required. Puntaş specialises in high-seal EPDM, NBR and Viton gaskets for plate heat exchangers, made to the requested size and quantity. Puntaş Conta manufactures or sources to the customer’s drawing or sample.
Stainless Steel Fitting
After moving to its 2,000 m² plant in Beylikdüzü OSB, Puntaş began in-house manufacture of stainless-steel fittings. Fitting production was added in 2010. Parts go through hydraulic press, punch press and a three-stage quality check before shipment.
Plate Heat Exchanger
Plate heat exchangers have a higher overall heat-transfer coefficient than shell-and-tube units because the thin plates that separate the two fluids cut heat loss. Corrugated plates make the flow turbulent. ExperPHE units made at Puntaş follow pressure-vessel rules; gaskets are EPDM, NBR and Viton and plate stock is certified European sheet. Grades 304, 316 and titanium are processed to ISO quality; units carry a 2-year warranty.

Induction Surface Hardening
Induction surface hardening is used when not every zone of a part must have the same hardness. Zones that must be hard are raised to hardening temperature by the magnetic field of a copper coil and quenched. Puntaş, one of Türkiye’s early heat-treatment shops, runs medium-to-high frequency induction machines for both series and tight-tolerance work. Coil design is held to a high standard so the surface heats evenly.
Quality Control
Puntaş inspects during production so reliability and strength are confirmed before shipment. Goods are released only after a three-stage quality approval. ExperPHE exchanger production follows pressure-vessel rules; ISO 9001 and CE certification were completed in 2012.
Precision Grinding
Grinding removes stock with an abrasive and is used from defence to medical work; it is the last manufacturing step. A rotating disc or cylindrical wheel brings the semi-finished part to final size. At Puntaş grinding is used to raise surface quality, take tight-tolerance stock from hardened surfaces, correct heat-treatment distortion on cylindrical parts and polish faces.
